I have the same issue with my queen. Im a restless sleeper and the sheets come undone too easily, those little sheet clamps dont even work :(

Pet,

A trick i learned on keeping the corners of fitted sheets on a bed, is to get 2 pieces of flat elastic; about foot and a half long each.

At both ends of each one, sew a small toothed clamp, such as a nipple clamp or the hair clamps; onto the long elastic.

Then run the elastic from top left corner to bottom right corner, attaching; then repeating but in reverse with the other 2 corners. It works real well.:rose:

I had this problem when I used fitted sheets which were elasticized along the top and bottom edges. Then I bought sheets which were elasticized along all four edges: problem solved.

I'm a very quiet sleeper, I don't toss and turn at all. This solution may not work for active sleepers.

Sheets...

Spend the money on 1000 thread count cotton sheets, you usually get what you pay for, they feel incredible and they fit.
Or just go the whole hog and try rubber...

There is a set of satin sheets I've had my eyes on, but just can't bring myself to pay for.

They're called "Shirt Stays". Invented as "dress shirt suspenders" of sorts. Using clips that don't damage the fabric, the attach at both ends with an elastic band in between.
Using the adjustment in the center, it can fit any manner of size.

I've used those to harden my hospital corners on the army cots in order to pass inspections.

I've also used blousing straps hooked just through the wool weave to tighten down the horrific army blankets so the drill sergeant couldn't pull out a roll while sliding his hand down the bed.

As an afterthought, I absolutely hated the army. I, for some reason, had a slight problem bowing to my higher ranked persons who I allegedly was assigned to as a subordinate.

I don't know why, but I find that incredibly arousing for some reason.

I have the sheet clips for some of my more problematic sheet sets. They have a garter style clip on them, so no damage to the sheets.

You can also add a stronger elastic overtop of the one the manufacturer has put in if you want. Simple to do if you have a sewing machine and have 10 minutes to spare one day. I made crib sheets for my spawn, so learned to cut the elastic a bit longer and really stretch it out really tight before sewing it onto the sheets. This makes it really snug on the mattress.

Yeah that's a bitch. We only have a queen and some twins, but still. :rose:

I've used these sheet clips in the past, and they work very well on both queen and king beds :)

They can be found on Miles Kimball for $5.99 (plus shipping and handling, I'm sure). Others are, I think, available for less if you do a little searching. I just found these on a quick Google search.

ETA: The ones I've had tend to start to get a bit brittle after 3-5 years, so you might want to stock up. And when I was married to #3, with both of us being restless sleepers and uh, active otherwise, we found that two sets (a total of 8 clips) worked better. ;)

Elastic on all sides works for me too. My sheets only come that way now, not sure if it happens to be a coincidence or not but it works for me and I'm a very active sleeper.

I know just how you feel. It does that with every size sheet I ever used. Then I searched the stores and found these. http://www.bedbathstore.com/sheetstraps.html they are wonderful. The sheets never come off until I want them to. You can probably find them at Bed Bath and Beyond.

so, fun story:

the other day my sheets falling off the bed, like always. i usually dont bother to fix them till before i go to bed. so Master and i were spending some webcam time and things got... involved. anywho, towards the end i came and arched my back. becuase the sheets wernt realy on the bed the arch fprovided enough foward momentum that the sheets, and me along with them, slid right off the bed
