It's crockpot comfort food day. With a pic.

I'm making green chile stew today. There will also be a crockpot and all that good stuff. The sampling is just what I've got going into the food.

Guacamole also as you can see avocados. The fridge is full of those four types of beer as well.

Who likes cornbread? I'd have to use my moms old cast iron skillet for it but I can whip up some cornbread later for the stew. I have to run back to the store for the green chiles anyway.

Oh, the cornbread will be served with real butter.

Well, yeah but cornbread is just plain until it's southern style iron skillet cornbread. The edges are all darkened from the oil keeping it from sticking to the pan so it has a crispy outside, the inside is all soft and when you cut it steam comes out. Butter melts into it like magic and when you taste it... hmmmmmmmm..... it's just wonderfully sinful.. And there is no wheat in it so I can have it.
