A few days ago we had the door open and the husband was going in and out of the house. He was in the hallway when he heard a bell upstairs and a black cat ran down the stairs and back out of the house.
Tonight I'm laying on the couch after taking my pain pill and relaxing when my husband came into the living room and said 'ummm honey' with a great big grin and low and behold who's walking with him in our house? A ginger cat. I make him take said cat out of house (Mr. Man is allergic to cats
). I keep getting called by the husband to come to the door and said cat is rolling around everywhere being fussed by the hubby and the hubby grinning like mad. I go back in and get told to come back.
At this point I was getting ready to get the daft cow in the house, give him an allergy pill and send him for a shower. What stopped me? We had a stand off in the front yard!

Underneath my car now sits a white cat waiting its turn for a fuss. However, the ginger cat is having none of it and keeps moving around to get attention. I left all out there to go get the camera. The white cat had moved out to the sidewalk and was sitting there looking through the wrought iron fence waiting it seemed for the ginger cat to go home. I finally distracted the ginger cat long enough for the hubby to fuss the white cat quickly.
Problem is when I finally got hubby into the house the ginger cat sits out there pawing at the front sliding glass door and making us feel guilty as hell. And hubby sitting on the couch saying how much he wished he could have a cat.
I have a friend who had a cat who hated all men with a passion and that included my friend's husband. My hubby goes over and we are sitting on her couch and first thing that happens is the cat hops up, sits in his lap and starts purring. The shock in that house was amazing.
He just seems to be a cat magnet!
How I wish he could have his cat!
