Update on me..I know woo hoo..lol

So things have changed quite a bit for me here in the last few months and I thought I'd post a thread to update. I'm sure if I don't some of my posts will look totally insane from what I was previously doing..lol. After being with my husband for 12 years..the last 3 or so of them poly..we decided to split up and move on to do our own things. It's honestly not a sad thing. We are still very good friends and talk everyday, we're just no longer a couple.

I'm now in a 24/7 M/s relationship with the Dom I've been with for awhile now. We moved out of the horrid small town I was living in and moved to the city. We found a beautiful townhouse that has plenty of room for the two of us and my two kids. The kids are doing really well with it all I'm happy to say. They still get to see their dad every weekend and they have bonded with K (my dom) very quickly. They have noticed how happy I am and it's helped them to adjust.

I've known for awhile now that I needed 24/7 or TPE to be happy..I just wasn't admitting it to myself. After about a ton of heart to heart's with my husband we both agreed that us staying together was just holding us both back. It's been an adjustment being TPE that's for sure..lol. But I'm loving every minute of it..

I've been a LPN for 8 years and am working home health doing pediatrics, but I talked to some people today at the local college and I can start in January to get my RN.

I think that's all the new stuff going on with me..any questions feel free. I just knew if I started posting about my life now without clarifying people would wonder what the hell was going on..lol

Good to see you again! I'm glad to see you are happy. Any end of a marriage is at least a little sad, good to see that it has ended amicably and you are still friends.

I wonder....yours is not the first nilla marriage with D/s as poly or on the side that I have seen end recently. As someone in a vanilla marriage with a consenting extramarital D/s relationship I can't help but wonder how common is it that the vanilla marriages end in this kind of situation?

It's good to be back! I'm not sure about other marriages. I'm fortunate that mine ended the way it did and that we can remain friends, I still care about him a lot. We were just so different.

aww..thank you chickie I hope things work out for the best for you in the future. I also know from personal experience as I'm sure we all do that taking risks doesn't always work out..but we have to do what's in our hearts or we will never be able to live with ourselves later. So far so good..lol.

Today I realized that my pet is the most honest yet forgiving person I've ever met. And unlike most of the fake people I've met. I can really see a future with her. This leaves me with a calmness that makes me feel uneasy, because for once I'm dealing with the real world again, and what calms me is that she is by my side. I like it.
