Oh no! You poor thing Bandit! I'm so glad to hear that no one was hurt - but being without a car is SO inconvenient! Especially in winter...walking in the rain is not my idea of fun.

Hehehe...DarkElf - you're right : DumbAss does drink lattes. Fortunately, since we now work in the same company (I've know him for 4 years, only been in the same company for 6 months, and we don't work in the same department) I now have the HR sexual harrassment policy on my side. I warned him today that if he doesn't leave me alone then I'd complain to HR!
It's funny, but up until today, I always thought that HR policies were a waste of time.

Yep unwanted attention needs to be dealt with quickly. In past organizations I've been in the other guys in the place didn't wait for any official process we just took care of the dickhead. Something like that happened on a tour I was on. Myself and few of the other guys took care of the guy concerned, he never did it again. The girl in that scenario is still one of my friends to this day.

Brrrr - apparently it's 16C at the moment. I'm FREEZING. I think I'll have to go do some excercise to warm up. My idea of chocolate for breakfast didn't seem to help.

My horrible week ended on a nice note yesterday. Thursday morning my ex-boss asked me when my project workshop was going to be held. I said I didn't know - he asked me if I was still working on the project - I promptly burst into tears and said "apparently".
So, we (me and my ex-boss) went to his office and I explained that since he'd left that I'd not been given anything to do because my new boss is a data hog. I want more responsibility and work to do with out it being re-done by my boss
Long story short :
On thursday night my boss's boss spoke to my boss because my ex-boss told my boss's boss what I had complained to my ex-boss about. Was I too bossy, perhaps?
Anyway, for once in my life I seemed to get my way and on Friday my boss was bending over backwards to include me in the team (which is literally me and him) and we actually did some work *pauses for a dramatic effect* together.
I noticed that he started correcting himself - "I am going to do" to "we will do"

YAY! I hope the change stays. After all, there is no "I" in team.

So glad your week had a shining light for you & hope it shines for a long time.

anyway i did find the phone nunber of someone i email.. and i did text him .. only is i know i never got any luck.. he text be back .. but he was in melb... for work ..

i knew in a way me and luck dont go well .. and what i hate is disapoitment after and this happen always .. so best is not to think positive at all this way i wont get from happy unhappy..i just didnt want to stay home today ..

Well this comming week has me with mixed emotions as we start retraining on the home machine & we both have to learn to cannulate the new fistula which is in a bad spot for me to see so fingers crossed for that, we also have to be up early so we can get to the hospital by 7 am. Tuesday it's the operation to remove the tubes in my chest/neck which is the big worry as is every time under anaesthetic.
Wednesday & Friday mornings it's up early again.

I went out Saturday night to a speedway thingymajig. Ended up a complete shamozzle when a fight broke out between 2 twits and security were called. But hey I did win a JD jacket (size XL) and a bottle of wine.

I'll be thinking of you and Bandit . Some people don't even think about it, but I always see the most danderous part of any operation is the anaesthetic. Try be a good patient and let the nurses look after you. I'm sure you'll be in good hands and all will go smoothly for you.
