True. That's calmed down quite a lot, but you can bet your helm that whenever you see a new BE pally it's probably because they finally saved enough of their lunch money to buy BC.

By the way, is it true that the combat system in AoC is more like, when you hit a mob in a certain place they take damage there and shit (like if you hit them in the leg they limp after that) instead of just taking a d20 determined amount of damage to thier HP (or whatever the fuck) or is that just hype?

Um, no. if they're running and you hit them in the back, you ahve a chance of slowing them, and if you weild a blunt weapon, you have a chance of stuns, but basically, mobs and players have three sheilds. they can split them up evenly, or double up on one, or triple up, but they'll leave a side exposed. So if the mob moves all it's shields to the left, then the right and top are super vulnerable, but the left is nigh impervious.

Oh...well, that's a little more realistic than WoW's system I guess, and definitely different.
