So, DumbAss (aka the guy who still hasn't managed to take me on a date....after 3 years of "trying") managed to cancel on me again yesterday. I'm sorry that it's not worked out for us - I'm starting to think that there is a greater force working against us (either that, or he's gay <-- and I'm not just saying that. He could well be.)
So, I have another date on the weekend - with someone else! YAY!

I hope everyone is having a happy Black Friday. I've already walked under a ladder and opened an umbrella inside...now it's time for me to go and spill some salt.

I've often been told that I'm rather patient. In this case, however, I'm afraid it's closer to being stupid rather than patient.
Agreed - as far as I'm concerned, I'm important enough for him to make time for me. He hasn't made the time- but someone else has!

Time to do my washing and get it on the line - it looks like it'll be a nice sunny day today! I love my flexi-fridays - it means I get all my house work out of the way and can enjoy my weekend properly.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this (though I'm adopted, so not genetically related) but my grandfather (who I never met) was HOT! Seriously the best looking guy in my family. My Dad was quite good looking too, but as he got older his health problems showed.

Some good news for a change I logged on to the Centrelink website to check when we get a utilities payment seeing that the phone and power bills are due shortly, and found out that the carer bonus is being paid into my account on Wednesday - $1000 woohoo

Will come in handy, we need a new washing machine

I hope the Rudd Government keeps this going, not just for my sake but for all the other carers out there, we are under a lot of stress and financial worries are just another thing we cope with

I also hope that in their next budget, or even sooner, that they give something to the disabled pensioners. They miss out on the bonus of $500 which only goes to aged pensioners - the disabled have their problems surviving on a pension just like the aged pensioners ya know Kev

It sucks even worse thien the Howard government from t he disabled POV. My Pension has not changed, no bonuses and things cost more. The aged pensioners complain that the bonus isn't enough, well at least they got something.
