I say this because my alarm goes off every time I unlock my car with the physical key instead of the electronic key that doesn't work anymore...

*hugs* I sympathize. My next door neighbors let their car alarm just go and go and go whenever it's set off, and their driveway is right outside my bedroom window. It could be 3am and when it goes off and they just ignore it.

Makes me want to shoot the lot of them. Or at least destroy that car with a crowbar and some C4.

Nah, not quite yet A green card is not the same as citizenship. I've still got German citizenship, and I'll fight tooth and nails to keep it even though I might apply for US-citizenship a few years down the road. There is a way to keep both, it's just a bit tricky and requires effort and special circumstances.

I'm not American, by birth or otherwise. I'm German. I just live here, and since I married S, who is a US-citizen, I qualify to get a greencard. It's about damn time too, because my student visa ran out on the fourth.

Yep, very likely so. There's still biometrics and a background check and an interview from hell, but if me and S pass all of that and nothing unexpected happens, I'll have a shiny green card within the year.

It's raining again. Good for this area, we need it.

This morning about 2 am there was a very violent thunderstorm. As I lay there listening to it I realized that for the first time in 19 years I as completely alone during a thunderstorm. No other person or pet with me.

Yeah, that's the problem with them wearing those sizes at a younger age. It's hard to find stuff that doesn't look like that. She knows she can't get anything low cut or clingy.
