Il y a quelque chose si attrayante d'une femme qui a des veines qui sont visibles sur ses mains. Ceux qui sortent. Ils me rendent faible.

:D

Aren't those just fireflies?

That's what I thought, until some people posted here saying they'd never seen them and were amazed when they did, and then I realized this little bit of nature-magic had been going on right in front of my eyes all these years and I thought it was "just lightning bugs."

:) :rose:

Unrelated: Can I just get enough to give her a car, and three to six months living expenses, so I don't feel like such an asshole. I know its the best thing to do but doing it harshly just hurts.

I feel ancient tonight. As if going out at 11 pm is something only young people do.

I'll be back in a couple of hours. Probably carrying my boots, and way intoxicated.

Look out, London.

I've always loved them. My husband had never seen them till after we were married. I think I love lightning bugs more now after being able to watch his total amazement when he first saw one.:cathappy: I can't wait to show my little one.:D

Then again you should have seen his amazement the first time he came to see me in the states and I took him to a walmart :D

Today I watched a flypast of WWII and later historic aircraft from my front garden.

I saw a Lancaster, a Spitfire, a Mustang, a Hawker Hunter and several others I couldn't identify. I could have joined a crowd of 60,000 a few miles down the road at the air display but I had a better and more comfortable view at home.

Cool. I wonder if the Lancaster was the one from Canada?

Never seen a Hawker Hunter. Would love to someday.

I think the Spit is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built.

It's far more graceful than its American descendent, the Mustang, but for sheer "beautiful death" I think it's hard to beat the P-38 Lightning.

And yet again...the smoke has settled upon the area. Its smoke from the fire in NC...thick enough that it seems like a fog settling upon the region

My kids will be home in about half an hour. The only good thing about them being gone was the quiet. Hubby was his normal broody self. He got a migraine today of all the bad timing. So, no sex for me this weekend. :(
