Hey folks, just been a long few weeks as I get acclimated to the new store. My home store was franchised, and the store that most of us transferred to was in pretty bad shape compared to what we were used to. But, bit by bit, we are getting it under control and that will make things a little less stressful.

Of course, school is letting out at the end of this week, so my online time will still be a little off kilter. Soon, I hope, I will be back in the swing of playing in forums (and joining back in on some RPGs) and doing some writing--I have a wayyy overdue part on a Chain Story to finish up (come RCV on the earlier parts of it!).

How's things been going for everyone? Waves and highfives and handshakes and hugs and much glomping wherever appropriate...

Anyway, I missed you man. I created a Marvel thread to replace Titans, since most of the players for Titans were gone or too busy or whatever. I play Spidey, Hulk, Iron Man, and a few baddies, including Green Dragon (my name for Ultimate Green Goblin), Doc Ock, Sandman, Electro, and Hydroman. I also have a Zelda game and a furry one.

I'm an assistant manager at a 7-11. And school has everything to do with it...during the school year, I run the daily operations on my wife's daycare. Right now, we only have one child who only comes in after school and on holidays and weekends (which means she'll be here 6 or 7 days a week during summer), but I also have to deal with my kids--8. 12. and almost 16--and that can interrupt things sometimes.

Especially when the precocious 8-yo comes over and begins reading aloud over my shoulder...

Wow Remec, I didn't know you were still married, lol. I just kind of figured you were single and your kids had all grown up and were off living their own lives. You seem like such a cool guy, I figured there was no way you were married or had younger kids running around, lmao. I figured your coolness was something that comes from the happiness and freedom of a single life. I hear my dad complaining all the time about how he wishes he was single and had no wife or kids, because of the stress he deals with every day. By watching his misery, I have been scared celebate, lmao. I have no intentions of marrying or having kids.

EDIT: He has five kids from two women, both of whom are total bitches (my mom and stepmom). I'm almost 26, my brother Nic is almost 22, and my sister Becka is 19. We are from my dad and his first wife, Julie. With his second wife, Susan, he has Toria, who is about to turn 7, and Tommy, who turned 5 a few months ago. My dad just turned 48 last month, and has little ones running around, lol. Mom is 52, and stepmom is 44.

I'll be 43 in July; but, please, just think of me as that weird guy across the street or maybe a cool uncle or something...hehehe...the one who reads all the same comics and manga you do, plays D&D and other RPGs (or Magic, etc) at the drop of a hat, and dabbles in writing poems and, ahem, other stuff from time to time.

Remec: No, no females yet. I'm reposting the thread and changing things up a lot to include Mutants and two teams -- X-Men and Avengers -- uniting to create a new mega team called the Ultimates, which will be headquartered at the Triskelion, a S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

Okay... Now for the bad news. Certain stupid family members (my brothers and their SO's) Have convinced mom to change plans of moving near Tampa to moving to near West Palm Beach. I can already hear my hope of a social life dying. -_- God I'm so depressed...plus...I really need a life outside of my family. I love them to do death, but I need freedom damn it!

okay, to explain. Because of a screwup at the PHARMACY in dealing with a screwup at the place my prescriptions come from, I am without my medicine until the one they mailed to the pharmacy yesterday (the day I RAN OUT OF THE DAMNED THINGS) gets there....

to that effect, I have been trying to rest, conserve energy, and most importantly, keep my body temp, blood pressure, and such down.

unfortunately, the entire world seems not to understand that. to whit, this morning, my internet went down around 9, came back around 11.30, went down around 11.32, came back around 11.40, went down around 11.41, came back around 11.42, went down around 11.42, and finally came back around 12.... then, once I decide I need to lay down because my neck hurts...over the first 15 minutes of the last half hour, I received at least 9 phone calls...all but one of which were from the same person....I'm about ready to take my phone off the hook.....

Why can't you eat normally? And I'd offer to let you stay with me, but I'll only be living solo till me brother and sister come down in September, at which time we'll be moving into a three bedroom apartment at this REALLY nice place called Plantation Gardens. The apartments are HUGE. The rent is 1200 a month, but with three people, we can afford it EASILY, especially since most jobs pay at least $8.50 an hour or more to start down here. It's got three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a brand new washer, dryer, and dishwasher with the unit. If I was closer to it, I'd go get a job at Sam's Club -- they're hiring night stockers at $12 an hour to start.

I'll be moving into a cheaper one bedroom apartment till September. Luckily, today was my last day babysitting the kids, so Monday officially starts a new job hunting season. I've already tried a few places -- Blockbuster, Wal-Mart, and GameStop, all of which are not hiring for any positions I want. I'm going to try Walgreens, CVS, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Target, and a few other places next week. What sucks is that I don't have a car and my bike is fucked up. I need to try and get it fixed this weekend or I'll be walking everywhere, lol.
