..."Should be" is maybe what you meant to say. History would argue against most positions in government being "earned."
I think she should be offered the VP spot, or, at least, Secretary of State.

You are right. The vp needs to bring something to the ticket. Obama's weaknesses are not compensated by having her added to the ticket. If she follows through by helping to unite her followers, she should be given a very prominent role. I just don't think she should be promised something until that time. Right now...let's see what kind of leader she is.

The town of is Monowi, Nebraska might need a street sweeper, but I don't think the one resident of the town can afford to pay what she'd ask for the job.
Besides, she's under-qualified for streetsweeping...

I don't have a problem with women or women in power, in charge, or whatever -- I just have the same sort of problem with Hillary that I had with her husband, John Kerry and Al Gore: They're all Democrats from the furthest left corner of the party.

Isn't it interesting that the majority of Hillary supporters seem to be women? And they are the same ones now that the primaries are over that are saying "If Hillary isn't offered the VP position, I won't vote"? WTF? I voted for the individual who I thought would make the best president. Sex, race, religion ect. had nothing to do w/ my decision. Yet...because I am a man and do not like Hillary, I am a sexist?
