I really don't think it's about post count. Truth is over time here everyone develops a character of sorts, some sort of reputation. To my mind that's the only form of elitism that I see regularly, and often it's a kind of reverse elitism. I have so many posts that people are sometimes intimidated by that; it's not anything I do. Another time it happens is when someone new underestimates the level of discourse here. I was guilty of that as a newb myself, assuming I knew more than other posters about stuff. I did it a lot.
