LOL @ the Speaking Clock - just hope no-one round me decides they need one

Well, I just got back from the Ulysses Grand Parade here in Townsville - my first, and definitely not my last! I was feeling a bit like a destroyer among battleships and dreadnoughts... and then I saw Pinky (no, not the Brain's mate, a Brissie Ulyssian) on a 250cc scooter! So many bikes...

As far as the weather goes, it's warm, a little humid, but still fine (clouds are gathering, however) - just hope the foul stuff moves inland or off the coast for the ride home next week...

Other than that, things are fairly ordinary - and that's the way I like them for now

Mate I'm full of envy for that kind of ordinary. The Ulysses GP would of been fantastic to be a part of & the beauty of the Club is if it is a bike it's OK.

plans, well lawn bowls with workmates this afternoon

art gallery, photo expo and aussie vs iraq in the soccer tomorrow

i was going to do the art gallery today, but i 'somehow' got distracted and it would get too rushed into the back end of the lawn bowls if i did do it now...

Hey your got to have a farewell party for your good friendly neighbour before you go just so he won't miss you to much.

Nah don't think we will bother with a farewell party. And we certainly wont miss him the whinging bastard!

This time next week I hope to be telling Rasher where to stick various furntiture items and then changing my mind 5 minutes later..

I wish our current landlord the best of luck because I have a feeling he is being taken for a ride by the woman he has shacked up with.

We will both be working Thursday and Friday and will only be able to make the Sat night meet, however we have bed available for you and a spare street directory so you will be able to come and go as you please.

First it's drink a stubby before tee off on first hole & then another before tee off at all the remaining holes. Lose a ball another stubby, hit one out of bounds another, in the water hazard with the crocs another so on & so on.

see now that's my type of game, crocs in the water hazard, although you would have to bring along a European tourist as a distraction while you got your ball

I hear crocs are partial to a Danish

Hi Everybody
Been a while since I posted so should probably have a bit of an update for anyone interested.
The project car is 99.9% finished. need to fit about 10 things for the engineering process then all should be good. Took it for a drive not to long ago and all I can say is WOW. (No Orlanth not the game)

Still working at the same place for now but am looking at a new direction so will see what happens there.

Am an Uncle again, A nephew called J who is 2 weeks old this week.



Not much else at the moment just the same ole same ole for now.

nice to see no one had any bad week ..maybe not the best but not bad either

anyway i had a busy day i manage to upgrate the forum..and the new version to work i had to upgrate the skins ...this mean i lost all the mods like gender, hide hack ect..well i have to put everything back..but will be worth it ... the new version is great the profile is different ..pity the lit didnt change yet to that version ..i guess big forums dont want to do this and i can understand lots of work ..

Today he asked if I was keen on running at lunch/after work.
I asked why? Was he planning on doing the city to surf (which they sent an email about for a work team)
He said no, he's just wanting to aviod the mid 20's bulge.
I laughed and said it starts at 27...it's all down kill from there.
He asked how old I was.
I replied 29. Becareful when asking a woman her age!
He replied - If I knew you were that old, I'd not have asked.

There are two ways to take that - the negative way is he thinks I'm old (he's 24). On the positive side, he obviously thought I was younger. I guess my anti-wrinkle lotion is working

I'd be positive.

He may very well have been trying to be nice, but it came out a little wrong.

Trust me, I know, I am 24 too. Sometimes I say something to women that are meant to be a compliment, and instead come across as an insult. It comes down to having little experience talking to women.
