Let's all sing "Lay Down Sally"

*sigh*

Thanks. I've had far worse earworms. Like that song by...GAH!

I saw BOC, Bob Seger and Bachman Turner Overdrive in the same concert. BTO was the headliner then. Good concert. That was a few years ago.

I saw the Black & Blue tour in LA years ago....Black Sabbath and BOC. Great show.

The one I mentioned I was in high school - 1974 or 75, just before Reaper. I remember liking their older stuff better, but good for them for breaking through. Never got to see Black Sabbath.

I just realized: Clapton is perhaps the only '60s rock god who has remained perennially cool. (Still love that old Cream stuff.)

Personally, I like this one by Eric...I can call him that 'cuz we're good buds. :D

And this one.

*I'm am so going to hell for that lie*

Spawn does. In fact, he just got an electric guitar for his birthday. :)

Husband and daughter both play guitar. He has an acoustic and two electrics (both Fenders). She has an acoustic and an electric (Fender of course).

Son number one just got a drum kit ( a real one, not a toy).

Son number two is still waiting for the music fairy to choose what he will be able to play without learning or practising (hey, he's 8!)

*wanders off humming Clapton melodies*

I had the privilege of seeing Sabbath with Iron Maiden at Ozzfest, it was probably the greatest moment of my life.

As the designated drummer-player in the Oblimo family RockBand band, I was very disheartened to learn that the vocalist player gets to clonk the cowbell in Reaper. :(

I shall keep that horrible knowledge from my aspiring drummer son for a little longer (he's only had his kit for 10 days, he doesn't need disillusionment yet).

With scones and strawberry jam?

Never got into Clapton when I ought, on the other hand, his old recordings are dead cheap.

Maybe there should be two cowbells.
