Two times - one in college, combined with another drug that makes you energetic and laugh a lot (hint hint) at a really, really wild Halloween party I hosted and which is now a legend. The other time "celebrating"/medicating a traumatic separation.

Actually, I don't entertain that fantasy, because I start thinking about the gifts I would make to certain family and friends, and notice that psychologically this has the effect of making me feel like I have made those gifts, so the recipients should feel very special about me. But - a million is not a dangerous amount for that (usually such fantasies involve $300 m to $1 b), so I'll play: Most would go into a retirement fund (snore), but maybe I would stage a junket and bring friends and selected colleagues to Chicago or DC for a weekend on the town. There's no thing that I really want, except maybe a Lear jet for unlimited, convenient travel, and now we're back in that higher $ range.

Create my career in the second half of my working life. It was all me - starting out on the threshold of middle age in a total entry-level position, having no connections or advantages, heading in a totally new direction (work-wise, not passions-wise); and has enabled me to grow and do important things, and also do a lot of stuff that's really fun and rewarding (for a geek like me at least).

Actually, I almost got into a fight on band tour last month. My first physical encounter ever. We were looking for a place to eat, and we kept walking around, but everywhere we went to was either closed down or too expensive. So we stopped for a while and started talking for a while. My stomach was rumbling, so I mentioned I'd rather we talked about this while we were walking and that we'd have a better chance of finding a place to eat if we were on the move. Then one of the guys said something about my mom and sucking his cock. So I slammed him against the wall and told him never to talk about my mom that way again. Now, I'd understand if we were screwing around (boys will be boys after all), but we were weren't joking around, and for him to say that just out of the blue was uncalled for and over the line. But, he apologized and I let him go. Even went so far as to shake his outstretched hand, even though I really wanted to rip his arm off. So we parted ways and my best friend told me he was proud of me for what I did. Made me feel a bit better, but I didn't like that feeling. Still, I wasn't about to let him get away with that.

I'd buy myself a decent house (nothing huge, just something I could raise a family in), a good car (again, nothing fancy), and then all the Transformers toys/memorabilia I could get my hands on.

What's one thing that you have done that you're most proud of?
I'm very proud of my 2002-2003 school year, where I won both of the major scholarships offered at my school and that years Concerto Contest. I'm also very proud of my Senior Recital. But the proudest moment I think for me was when I was on stage yesterday afternoon playing in my old CC's alumni band for our retiring director. It was literally the best band I've ever played with. What an amazing weekend!
