Well, day 1 of the AGM meet is over, and so far, all I've got is a sunburn and a severe case of envy for several of the wonderful machines I've seen. We shall see what the other days bring to light...

Just popping in to say I'm feeling a little more northerly... I'm up in Townsville for the Ulysses AGM. It hasn't started yet, but I've already met Ulyssians from 3 states (correction-2 states and one New Zealander). The fun and games start from tomorrow...

Oh, and Gil? Please move me from a possible to a DEFINITE for the G&G (my wallet should have recovered by then...)

Great to have a DEFINATE & we do have a few now so in the next week or so will remove the possible heading.

Sadly WQ & LB can't make it because of things happening in their lives.

I don't think lady luck has my address as things have been rather shit here for a while.
July last year they did a gortex fistula in my right fore arm & we got to train then do home dialysis giving me better treatment as having it done at the hospital only maintains, more hours means better health, more energy etc.
Then Nov it clots so need an op to clear it, hey add some more gortex tube into my bicep but then on my fucking birthday this year it again clotted.
I the had to have a vas cath put in my neck so dialysis could be done, march & the fistula that I have now is a natural one (not gortex) that they only started using in april but it wasn't matured enough but they persisted with it untill mon 19th may when it couldn't be used so the next day it was ultra sounded finding the narrowing & today I've just got home from having a fistulagram.
Fistulagram involves a radiocative die pumping through me so they can see how bad the restriction is & if it can be cleared, lucky for me they think they have cleared it with the bubble thing they also used for a lot of other things like hearts.
So it's fingers crossed that this will have it working good enough to get back home for my treatments under supervision of HEAD NURSE BANDIT

Well, next year's AGM (in March) is a lot closer to you... in Penrith!

Glaucoma is the word I was looking for. My Optometrist found intraocular pressure in my appoinment today. He wants a list of my medications so he can found if they are the reason or not.

Besides that, my eye sight is pretty much fucked. I could hardly read the top line, with my glasses on BTW, he went through all the lens things, one or two settings made one eye barely able to read the 2nd line. Then those settings would only work for one eye and make the other worse.

Good news though, two of the disabled car parks I designed are being used in the Town now. The Council liked them enough to use one at their own office.
