I also wanted to wish him a speedy recovery. I pray he gets well and his family is comforted in this difficult time.

Though I have been an ardent opponent of much of Sen. Kennedy's policies and dislike his public persona intensely, I wouldn't wish that diagnosis on anyone. My condolences to the family . . . even if I don't like 'em.

For Kennedy the prognosis is terminal, of course. Even if it is Stage 3, only one in four lasts two years, even with surgery and chemo.

This is something I don't wish on anyone, even pathetic asses on a porn forum.

I was surprised when I heard his diagnosed. Surprised and saddened for while I do not agree with many of his views I would not wish what he is going to be going through on anyone. He and his family will be receiving a card from my wife and myself within the next day or so. (Yes I do know how to get things delivered to him and no I won't pass this along. It comes from living down the street from them for much of my life.)

Such a tragic family history; too bad we don't develop an immunity to pain and loss.
