How do you know when you're falling in love? I'm 31 and I have no idea. I wish there were a signpost along the way, some signal yes or no, some concrete way of knowing.
I wish, too, that I could walk away unscathed.

Yeah, this being so different is part of what has me worried. I'm not sure I want to fall in love. I mean, I do, of course, but as we've discussed, I really like my life and my freedom, so there's a part of me that's tempted to just turn away from it now so my life won't change.
