Quite welcome, darlin. I just wish we could safely show the ropework I did on you this weekend. And last weekend. And...

he gave me these roses and instead of putting them in a vase and leting them wilt, i decided to dry them so i can have them on my desk all of next year.

She shows talent. Though the key to remember is that floral suspension is inherently easier as your bottom is a vegetable.

First of all: VIV, you look beautifull in your Rope Slut tank top and blue (purple) rope
(me ... want ... RopeSlut Tank Top and Boy Short ... but I guess it should say "wannabe" Rope Slut ... LOL)

Homburg-sama: great job, as usual, with the chest harness. I too love particularly the detail on your back ... the way your mind works keeping in mind practical issues such how to maximize handability is really yummi

MIS: wow! rose last too short in water so I always dry mine up-side down like you do and your rope work is really good! mine ... a rubber band is all they get ... poor abused roses ... no wonder I have not found a proper rigger yet ... karma at all

come to think of it, if you are counting flora (or stuffed animals for that matter) this is not my first suspension.

It's purple. The flash makes it tint blue.

Sure thing, Sprinkles. I'll post some basic shots from the ATL trip of me tying faerie fire. These shots of FF were taken by Snoozebuttons. When Gigi gets her shots done, I'll post those, as I did before with the shots of sinn.

I included this pic as it shows the rope on her shoulder. It was a "Here, hold this" moment. I wanted it in contact with her for a bit before we started to make sure she was not going to have a serious allergic reaction to the jute. I left it there while I asked my usual questions.


The tie starts. As you can see, FF has nicely flexible shoulders.

The wraps start around the waist. She is tied at the wrists and elbows, and the wraps going around the waist serve to really immobilise the arms against the torso. For whatever reason, I decided that I wanted to do something more akin to a hojojutsu tie, and just immobilise her.

Rope bunnies have mouths. Mouths can hold rope. And while it was not a problem here (as FF was as quiet as a mouse the whole time), a mouth holding rope is usually a quiet mouth.

I honestly can't think of the last time I had a really chatty bunny though. I'm thinking about it, but most are usually just blissfully quiet. Good stuff, rope.

She is laid down, and you can see a side detail shot of the arm and waist tie, and I am starting the hair tie. Hair ties aren't hojojutsu per se, but they're hot, so whatever.

And here is the moment that probably generated the most buzz. I think it is probably self-explanatory why this shot occurred, but the bottom line is that I'm an attention whore, and I like to play with my bottoms.

With hair being so slippery and having lots of tiny strands, how do you know the load is distributed amongst all the hair, as opposed to only a small amount of strands actually holding while the rest have kind of slipped loss?

Nope, not a square knot. It's tough to describe. It'a lark's head followed by a particular overhand, but it is done like a bend, using the hair as a working end.

Look at her face. See her grimacing in pain? No? The load is evenly distributed. As to how I know it will be, it is how the tie is constructed. The fact that it is a VERY well supported bend is why you can trust that it is supporting the hair throughout, and not just certain strands.

Oh, yeah. I definately enjoyed the experience. How long did the sequence take in any case? I know I was there lol but I honestly have no clue how long that lasted. It seemed extremely short and thoroughly wonderful. And made2, if you get the chance jump on it. Homburg's a genius with rope Came up with it off the top of his head when I told him I had no clear suggestions for ties he should try. So the improvisation skills are also well honed. I think next on the list is a corset tie and viewing some live suspensions. Luckily there are demos near my soon-to-be location so I'm jazzed. Thanks for hosting the pics Homburg, and for making them possible in the first place. You rock!
