If anyone has read this work of fiction - let me tell you, it is based in fact.
My brother-in-law (70+) has an infatuation with a blond Ukrainian (she really is gorgeous - the type you'd cross the street to smell) who lived above him. She's 35 ish.
His wife died just over a year ago, blondy used to be their cleaner until late departed sister-in-law kicked her out. Now she has moved in!!! citing her violent and drunken and drunken partner as her need to escape (one floor!).
Brother-in-law has gone through 60k$ in 12 months feeding his addiction. We learnt from a family friend she does blow jobs - presumably at a few thou' a blow, and brother-in-law is deeply smitten. We don't know quite what to do about this. We know she forged late sister-in-laws signature to move money (30k) from one bank account to my brother-in-laws bank account but using this info will land brother-in-law in trouble.
Were heading for a shake-down, I fear a bad ending. We don't want to run his life, if this was a genuine relationship rather than very expensive sex, we'd be happy to let them get them get on with it. We don't gain financially on his demise (he's had three mild heart attacks), his assets pass to our daughter, but the wife is distressed that in order to save him for a few more years, she'll lose a brother.
Wise peeps of the AH - any advice?
