It's a beautiful day here in Sydney. I was invited to go to Manly Beach today but decided to do some laundry, vaccuming and other exciting household chores instead. Hmmm think I might book that appointment with the looney bin now!

Goodmorning.
It's a beautiful day here in Sydney. I was invited to go to Manly Beach today but decided to do some laundry, vaccuming and other exciting household chores instead. Hmmm think I might book that appointment with the looney bin now!

Silly ICR, passing up the chance to go to the beach!
Our weekend will be the usual - speedway (it's the last meeting for the season YAY) plus a lazy Sunday. What will we do with our Saturdays for the next few months??

We will be there tonight as well.. think a friend from the states might be coming along to check it out as well.
I'm sure we will figure something out to keep us amused during the next few months! Will be good to be able to spend time together and just relax.

hello everyone... good to see that nothing bad happen this weekend
I had a boring saturday and sunday will be staying home helping my son to finish an assesment that due on monday ..he bring it late and today the internet didnt work and lost a day of this .. i have to help him a bit ..not that i can help much
but we have just a day to finish a cook book the content its not hard but put this together and print it... all this stuff.. need time ...also need to design a cover for the book he will be busy he have 5 assessments to finish in a month
anyway will take my mind out of thinking ...
oh am thinking to move...... leave Australia..... i need change i think had enough of the same life.. i dont think my husband will want that ..if i dont leave, i need to find something else....also thinking to start that work i was planning long ago but didnt do .. sell stuff from the net and also from home .. i think will work but need some money to start.. anyway enough about me ..hope everyone have a nice weekend ..it was a nice weather today ..

Hey Valia, I know how you feel. I'm just lucky that I'm single without kids so it's easier for me. The best advice I can give you is decide what you want/need and then talk to you family. I know lots of people will say "don't run away", but it's not always like that. Moving to Brisbane was the best thing I ever did...new job, new home, new friends and so many new opportinities I'd not have been exposed to if I stayed in Perth. It was so good for my self esteem. Now I'm back in Perth, I'm enjoying here more than I did before I left, but I'm still thinking about going over seas for a couple of years. Australia will always be here if you want to come back.

Weekend was nice and quiet here - the familial (if that is a word) visit to the parents for an overnight stay, they have five bedrooms and only use two, plus the traditional Saturday night steak meal. Off to the movies shortly, if I can stop posting on Lit for long enough LOL.

If he was late bringing it home to do it that is his problem not yours. By all means be there to offer suggestions but don't get on the computer and do the work for him. The marks given should be for his work not yours and you won't be helping him learn time management or self discipline if you help him too much. *This from a mother who's got her kids through school and almost uni and helped other kids at school too* I think it would be good for you to have a home based business, would help keep you from being bored at home all day

Valia, you have to do what you need to but leaving Aussie? there are so many training courses that would help you with selling on the net plus benifits while your getting it all together.
If you do decide to go there are many of your friends here who will miss you.
As for the home work he is old enough to know how to do the lot himself & it is mant to be his to do so he learns.

My Dad and I (and sometimes my Aunt and cousin) do the Sunday afternoon movie quite a lot. Mum doesn't like going to the movies (....Mum doesn't like doing much!
) and now that Dad isn't as mobile as he used to be, the movies is an easy option. Having said that, it has been a while since I have seen a good movie. Dad and I are still waiting for the next James Bond! November I think....?

Also can't remember when there was anything that I wanted to see enough to actually bother going!
There have been a couple that I have seen advertised and think ooh that looks good, might go see that! Then I rethink.. if I wait a little while I can hire it on dvd and watch it in my jammies and not have to go out.
I have had my antisocial pants on a bit too much lately I think.
