*edit* Late starter? He's a week late!

This was from the guy I met (once) through RSVP. I'm not going to waste the 22 cents it costs to sms him back. I'm too old to play those silly games with guys like that. I'm not in high school anymore!
My date last week was cancelled (long story - I was VERY annoyed...but he knows.) so now we're going out to dinner next tuesday (my birthday) The ex came over today and wanted to take me out for my b'day...so I told him about my date - he seemed quite excited for me, which is kinda weird. Nice, but weird.
So, my date on Tuesday better not be cancelled - hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!!!

It's a man thing Pert. I have a friend who 'sees' a guy who totally ignores her when his mates are around or he has something to do but when he finds himself alone and bored he sends her sms and expects her to jump.

* Note I did not mean that all men are like this*

What is the plan for the G&G Gil? Sexpo Thursday.. what's happening Friday and Saturday? And does it finish Saturday night or is something happening on Sunday too.

OK seeing we are now looking at a fair bit of interest in the 2008 Sydney G&G it's time to try to set a few plans in place.

We are looking to hold the Saturday night meet at the Ramsgate RSL which we have used for the last few years.

Accommodation is available close to this venue & has been used by many who have attended past G&Gs in Sydney.

As for SEXPO we are planning on a Thursday (free ticket day) meet up for anyone who can make this. Others may like the Friday, day time Saturday or Sunday visit. Keep an eye on the site for your chance to claim free tickets to the thursday SEXPO.

Looking forward to seeing friends both old & new.

The LIT Aussie thread Sydney meets has always been a no trouble, hassle free time where we can talk about anything in a fun social atmosphere enjoying the company of others we have seen on LIT.

Why would anyone bother after that rotten agadoo song they punished us all with?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD6KZ-RTFfo

CHORUS:
We're having a gang bang
We're having a ball
We're having a gang bang
Against the wall
We'd like you to join us
It's part of the fun!
Oh a gang bang is the thing to do
But it takes more than one

A gang bang is a game we play
It's something of joke
It's lots of hokey-pokey
Less hokes and lots of pokes
It's for the girls and for the boys
It livens up the night
It's better when you're crowded
And when you're packed in tight

CHORUS

And now the action's taking place
I'm ready for my fill
It's up to expectations
And it's going further still
But don't be greedy, share it out
It's time to try some more
So find a friend, play the game
That's what a gang bang's for!

CHORUS (x4)

A gang bang is the thing to do
We'd like to give you one

tooo funny....
I heard it on an internet radio station yesterday
I thought it was a joke. Had no clue how old it was either

Personally I blame disco era  never saw any attraction to it & there was to much great Aussie rock keeping my attention.

If Bertrande makes it to the 2008 G&G I'll grope her & let you know how wonderful it is if you like but only because your a mate I'd not normally do that as you know, I'm sweet & innocent.

And Nostess didn't brake his dick.

The internet is a wonderful thing. It takes us places we'd never be able to go otherwise, introduces us to other cultures, opens our mind to different lifestyles - it educates us in many ways. Because of the internet we also meet people we wouldn't be able to otherwise (mainly because of location), and we're all the better for it.

I've been lucky to connect with some very special people on the net, most of them on this site. They're people I'd love to meet, but in reality probably never will meet some of them. They've enriched my life and been true friends in every way.

One of these friends used to post here under the nic of Aramera. He hasn't been here for a while now, but he and I have kept in touch thanks to messenger. His humour was as special as him. He also had a big heart and broad shoulders that I would lean on from time to time. A special man, and a very special friend.

This morning I had an email from his wife to say that he passed away last week. He had a very aggressive form of brain cancer. His loss to me is no less because we haven't met. He is my friend, and I will miss him, miss his humour and miss his caring ways and wisdom.

RIP
ARAMERA

Today is my 29th Birthday. Mostly it was okay...but I was supposed to go out to dinner with a guy I've known - and liked - for quite a few years. As usual...he forgot and had made other plans. So, when I reminded him and made him feel guilty because it was my birthday (and he also happened to cancel on me last week) he delayed his plans until later tonight so he could buy me a drink after work.
I came home and cried. He's nice, but I don't think I can live with him standing me up all the time.
Two dickheads in as many weeks. BAH!

hmm, not the best of nights here in aussie thread land. sorry to hear earlier in the night of the death of one of the Lit community, and of course am sorry to hear that you were stood up again, pert.

i would think of writing something witty here, but i don't think it's quite the evening to...

Actually, witty would be nice! I was remembering my Mum's best friend tonight (talking about her to a friend). I've named one of my plants after her! The last time my Mum and I saw her alive, we went to her house to watch paint dry. It was the crackle paint...so was actually interesting. Anyway, it makes me smile every time I think of it.
While I never knew Aramera, I'm sure someone out there has a similar memory of him - making them smile. I don't beleive in an afterlife or a god, but I do beleive it's good to remember people who have touched our lives and keep their spirit in our hearts.

happy birthday PertPerth :)

some guys are just wankers
