Whomever this guileful is...I watched him either be lobito or pretend to be lobito and goad intrigued. It makes NO difference that lobito apologized in private...he should NEVER have come on to intrigued in the first place. For you to blame intrigued for talking about this is similar to telling a rape victim not to out her attacker.

Put it this way, april...if lobito or anyone else from here came on to your gf in a public place but there were "rules" for not outing what goes on...would you feel safe about allowing other unsuspecting women to meet with him? Or would you help spread the word about how NOT safe it would be to meet with that person?

I've stayed away from Lit for a while, making only brief visits here and there. I've certainly stayed away from all the Desiqn/guileful/etc drama.

Why? Because I've learned that on Lit people don't use the same code of conduct that's expected in the "real world". I also realize that people make up their own minds about something in a milisecond and defending yourself is simply a moot point than only drags out more and more drama and constant rehashing of the whole thing.

The person who started this thread may or may not have had good intentions, but I don't think they have the full realization that December really doesn't care about anyone or anything but herself and her desperate need for attention. The end result of this thread made her the center of the show and made everyone who was victimized by her relive the experience all over again. What if one of us is facing a very personal tragedy in our lives right now and our escape is to come to Lit and just participate in some funny but mindless threads? This certainly wouldn't be good.

On a side note, this thread (IMHO) isn't going to changes anyone's opinion on her or anyone else she's hurt. It only hurts those of us who have to rehash it again at the worst possible time to do that.

my intentions are to prove that December hasn't changed at all and i think this does need to be rehashed to show new members who to watch out for. she's probably speaking to newbies in private getting personal information to use on them later under a different s/n.

you can state your opinion about her, and warn people :)rolleyes:) without dragging out all posts.....and hurting others and maybe their lives.
 
Your idea just doesn't hold water, I'm afraid. Look how many other threads there are out there announcing this person or that person is horrible (for whatever reason) - yet it never stops people from being friends with them

LadyF, for example. I heard the most horrible things about her, yet still chose to meet and hang out with her. The mentality of most people is that the thread starter of something like this has a personal vendetta against the person they are talking about and the fact that you didn't use your own name more thoroughly ruins any credibility you might have had with people.

I'm not coming down on you, obviously you're trying to help. But you're not. You're hurting people just like she did. Please take a look at what your doing from the view of one of her victims.
