Young at Heart Chorus performs "I WANT TO BE SEDATED"

They also sing - Staying Alive and Walk on the Wild Side.

Great find, sher!

:D

Is this the same group of oldies that did My Generation? They were amazing.

I was hoping to see them do a bit of slamming. They did not ram each other with their fucking wheelchairs! How so politically correct and NOT Ramones they are.

Old bones are brittle. One must make allowances.

Edited to add: I'll bet they are more like the Ramones than the Ramones will be at eighty.

:D

I lost a high school student once, they played that at her funeral.

Can't watch this, I'm afraid. :(

In the last 20 years, we've lost about 5-6 alumni. Usually in their middle school years, nearly always to gang warfare. It's so stooopid! They seem to thing that life is like television. If you get killed on channel 7 you can just switch over to channel 9 and be right back again.

Shucks...

Who are (were?) Ramones?

I thought it was a pastiche (spelled 'piss-take') on Alice Cooper's "I wanna be elected"

You speak evil words not knowing who the Ramounes are (yes i butchered the word) Hell i'm only 19 and i know who they are >.<

Don't cry. Smile.

Oh I was smiling as well. I hope I have even a smidgeon of their energy and drive when I'm that age.

The reaqson the thread caught my eye, was because Min had been playing the actual track 'sedated' in the car the other day, and I'd never heard it before. I sent her the link to the video, and she loved it.

I do believe there's an English version of this octogenarian group, called the Zimmers (a walking frame over here is called a Zimmer Frame), they did a cover of a Who track , 'My Generation' here.

NEVER stop living. NEVER!!!!!

Just watched "Forever Young".

Yeah, I got a tear running down my face. So the fuck what? How can you not?

Soon as they do Bohemian Rhaspody (yes i know i can't spell it) they get 20 epic win points.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango
