Dorwan Vorudor passed the Trials and became a Jedi Knight at age 25. He finally took on an apprentice when he was 34, Bowen Surabis, who was 9 at the time. Eight years later, Bowen, at age 17, set a new record by passing the Trials at such a young age. Dorwan was worried that Bowen’s power might corrupt him, but put those thoughts to rest after a while.

Dorwan was 42 when Bowen moved on, and then instead of accepting a spot with the Jedi Council, he accepted a second apprentice, loving the act of teaching. This new apprentice was 9 year old Vaan Skylark. As Vaan and the other young apprentices grew up and trained, they came to view Bowen as a hero, because he never failed a mission, outmatched all others in lightsaber combat, and surpassed everyone with his knowledge of the Force. However, the realization that he could learn no more deeply troubled him. He became tempted by the Dark Side of the Force, and a whole new array of abilities to learn.

Now, Bowen is 27 and the hero of the Jedi, he is being considered for Master status and a seat on the Council. Dorwan is 52 and is also being considered for a seat on the Council. Vaan is 19 and very gifted, but not quite ready for the Trials yet.

Camellia “Cammy” Aradina is a Senator from Naboo. She’s 23 and a lesbian.

Jonas Kurik is a General in the Republic Armed Forces and commander of the Honor Guard. He is 34 and a legend among soldiers everywhere.

Albus Korda is Captain of the RSS Dragonwing of the 34th Space Fleet of the Republic. He is 32, and an expert fighter pilot.

Linus Ladarsa is the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Senate of the Republic. Prior to the election, he was a Senator from planet Minarn. He is 61, and he is in his last year of his second four year term.

Darth Razar is actually a second generation Sith. His father, Darth Trigonus, persuaded a young female Jedi, Sera Jirona, to go to bed with him, using the Force to effect her judgment. He then held her captive, realizing she was pregnant. She broke free, however, and vanished. Fearing for her child, she started a new life on the small Outer Rim planet of Tatooine. She named her son Titus Jirona, and soon noticed her son had a dark temper. His midichlorean count was abnormally high, and he was intelligent beyond his years. One day when he was seven, a passing Jedi sensed his strength, and then recognized his mother from the Jedi Temple. They returned to Coruscant together, and Sera explained what happened to the Council. They agreed to accept Titus, but told Sera she would have to cease communication with the boy. She returned to Tatooine, and Titus began studying.

When he was just 13, Titus and his mentor where sent on a mission to the space station casino, Neo Vegas, to investigate a criminal that might have been hiding there. They captured him, but the night before they were to leave, Titus saw his mother there -- she was on vacation. He suddenly grew furious, angered that she left him. He knew his anger was unbefitting of a Jedi, but it was his dark temper he inherited from his father that was controlling him then. He went to her room that night to confront her, but his anger took over and he used the Force to throttle his mother and then slam her into the wall, cracking her neck and killing her. He then began weeping at what he had done, when his mentor walked in. Terrified his mentor would kill him for his crime, he drew his lightsaber and dueled his master, eventually killing him as well. He was only 13 and had killed two people he cared for dearly. It was then that Darth Trigonus appeared from the shadows. He had been tracking Sera to kill her, but his son beat him to it. He told young Titus that he would be expelled from the Jedi Order and locked away for many years. It was this realization that led the boy to beg for Trigonus’ help. Thus, he became his father’s apprentice, Darth Razar.

Over the years, Razar’s inner darkness grew rapidly, and he began to loathe his father’s authority. He was tired of taking orders, and one night when he was 24, he lost his temper again, and attacked his father. Razar won, and right before Trigonus died, he said “I am proud of you, my son. A powerful Sith you have become!”

Razar then took on his own apprentice (a character played by one of you), and trained him/her for ten years. Then he instructed him/her to find his/her own apprentice (another character played by one of you). Razar has been without an apprentice for ten years, wanting to wait for Bowen Surabis to mature more. Plus, he has spent the last decade overseeing the production of his droid armies and stealth fighter fleets. Razar is 44, but he developed a way to use the Force to regenerate skin cells, causing him to retain the appearance of his mid to late 20s.

The story is thus: Darth Razar forged an alliance with Galaga Enterprises to create an army of battle droids and a fleet of star fighters with cloaking devices. Galaga supplied the fighter pilots. They spread the ships out around Coruscant, as well as freighters stocked with droids. Then, just as they enter the atmosphere, they release the cloaks, and the star fighters start firing. The freighters drop down and release thousands and thousands of droids onto the streets. All Jedi are called to fight, soldiers rush out onto the streets, and the Republic’s own star fighters are dispatched. Law enforcement agents evacuate citizens to the sewers.

So, this is how our chars get together. Dorwan and Vaan are at the Jedi Temple, and go to deal with the droids immediately. Bowen has just received orders to go to the Hoenno System, but he is stopped before he leaves and helps defend Coruscant as well. Captain Albus Korda commands his battleship, the RSS Dragonwing, and takes out many enemy star fighters. General Jonas Kurik leads the ground troops, and other Jedi and Honor Guards secure the Chancellor and the Senators.

So, you have several points-of-view to start from -- You can be a Jedi or soldier fighting the droids or guarding the Senate, a member of the Senate, or a pilot or something like that. Whatever you do, just integrate yourself well into the battle. There is one more ship cloaked -- the Blackstreak. This ship hides Darth Razar and the two other Sith from the eyes of the people in the battle. After a bit, Razar will lift the cloak and order them to attack. His goals are to conquer Coruscant and use its resources to create more droids, destroy as much of the Jedi Order and Senate as possible, and eventually take over the entire galaxy in the name of the Sith Empire. During the battle, he'll sense Bowen's lust for more power and begin to twist his thoughts.

NOTE: Since age isn’t so much of an issue in the Star Wars Universe (Padmé Amidala was an elected queen at only age 14), we’ll say that usually students attend Star Point Academy (a military training facility on Dantooine) when they are 14. So, the usual officer graduates from the Academy at age 18. Enlisted soldiers or space fleet sailors only attend the Academy for a single semester (16 weeks). Still, all characters must be at least 18.

NOTE II: I have created my own time system for this game. Hours, days, and weeks are the same as here on Earth. One galactic month is four seven-day weeks, and one galactic year is twelve galactic months. Usually, when referring to a month, one will say “M11”, meaning month number eleven. The current year in the game is GY 7008 (Galactic Year 7008). Usually, the galactic date is written or typed as such: 28.11.7008 (28th day of the 11th month of the 7008th year).

Usually, the Academy year starts the second Monday in M1, there is a month off between semesters in M5, and the last three months of the year are uses as breaks too -- First Semester: M1 to M4. Mid-Year Break: M5. Second Semester: M6 to M9.

The biggest war in recent history started in 6939 and ended in 6945 -- a Sith Lord, Darth Kryst, united a large group of systems in a distant part of the galaxy. He named it the Krystonian Union, and re-christened the planet Gerilida as Krystonia Prime. They attacked other star systems and added them to their ranks, while others allied themselves with the Republic. It came down to a battle between the Republic and the Union that spanned a large portion of the galaxy.

The Krystonian War ended with the death of Darth Kryst on Krystonia Prime in 6945. After the war, most of the formerly-Union systems joined the Republic, although some remained independent.

Shortly I will produce character images for those I'm playing. Once we have a few character profiles here, I'll post the RP Thread.

Jeff, can I play a female Jedi Master? I know if that'd work for you. Plus I'm gonna need some help putting her profile (Force abilities and such, nothing for clothes and personality.) I'll need help with her race as well.

i might have missed it, but roughly when would this all be taking place in the star wars timeline?

or is it an AU deal where elements of any of the eras could be used?

Yeah, it's an AU. Sorry, forgot to mention that. It's completely independent from any established Star Wars timeline. As mentioned above, the Republic has an army and a fleet, when in the true timeline, the Republic disbanded the armed forces because the Jedi were sufficient, until the Clone Wars, where they needed an entire army of clones because they had no army of their own.

i wouldnt get to close to him, we all know what happened to aeris

but i was just wondering as to what state mandalorians would be in, i was thinking of playing as a force sensitive orphan taken in by the mandalorians, or something along those lines anyway.

Wow. Yeah, I just wiki'd them. Mandalorians, I mean. You know what's funny? I created a race called Mandalorians for my series of novels, never knowing the name already existed. My Mandalorians were water creatures, though, lol. Blue elves.

well it is a kick ass name, so i can see how you would make that mistake

I know a bit. About the Trials and that you have to build your own saber. Maybe I should be a Knight instead... A bit less knowledge would be needed, right?

Hope this is ok.

Name: Thrist
Race: Chiss
Title and Rank: Jedi Master & Council member.
Height: 5'9"
Age: Unrevealed, yet known to be over the age of 150.
Skin color: Blue
Distinctions: Black eyes, and two cybernetic legs.
Hair: Blue

Lightsaber: A violet bladed Triggersaber, used in a personal variation of Form IV (of which he is considered a master.) This form is adapted by Thrist, so that it has fewer weakness when fighting in enclosed spaces.

Force Powers:
Force Telekinesis (basic only)
Force Leap
Burst of Speed
Force Sense -Seeing
Breath Control
Hibernation Trance
NOTE: These are the skills he specialises in using (i.e. he uses the force to see, as he is blind). He can also use other skills, though not very well at all.

History
A Jedi Knight by the name of Nyt Anyal came to Sarvchi after hearing about rumours of a young chiss orphan who, though blind, could walk around as if he wasn't. Anyal believed that this child must as such be strong in the force, and sure enough the child was, and Anyal took the child to coscurant, where he could become a jedi.

As such, Thrist was an Initiate, one of the most successful as the result of having to hone his skills so that he could see, and at the age of 13, was taken as a padawan, by none other than his original savior Nyt Anyal. It was during this time that he was trained in the use of Force IV.

At the age of 19 though, several things happened. During a mission to help protect the inhabitants of a planet from such verocious beasts, the pair were attacked and Anyal killed.

Though Thrist appeared victorious, it was at a cost, he had lost his master, and more importantly, his legs.

Five days later, through extreme discipline and use of the force, an exhausted Thrist finally arrived at civilisation, promtly falling unconsciously into a coma.

It was a coma that would last for 5 years.

Upon awakening, Thrist discovered that cybernetic legs had being grafted to his 'stumps', as a reward and thankyou for helping them.

Thrist though, had lost his lightsaber and instead of remaining in the jedi temple, made his way to the caves of Llum, where he constructed a new violet lightsaber.

As he returned from the caves, he spent all his free time practicing Form IV and changing it to be more effective in enclosed spaces, as he had being during the fateful battle that had cost him his legs.

Soon afterwards he completed the Jedi Trials and became a Jedi Knight, and not long after that, a Jedi Master as well.

But it would be 50 years later, when Thrist was 83 years old, that he was chosen to take a place on the jedi council.

Now, just over the age of 150, Thrist is still alive (making him the oldest chiss in existance), and uses the force to keep him strong and rejuvinated, even though it is sometimes rumoured, that his age is of a result of simple determination to not give in.

In all honesty, it is probably a bit of both.

Throughout his time now as a Master and council member, he uses most of his time doing 3 things; Meditating, Teaching younglings and improving his Form IV technique by using his force powers.

When the Battle for coscurant broke out, Thrist had being teaching younglings sabre techniques, and as soon as he had made sure they were safe he went out to join the battle, and is currently leading a small group of jedi in protecting the temple and the younglings inside.
