What reason would the daughter have to jump in bed "like a scared kid"?

So, mom, Daddy, and daughter go to the movies. Daddy sits in the middle. After a while, daughter puts her head on his shoulder. Maybe mom doesn't notice or doesn't care? (Could seem innocent enough, especially if Dad and daughter had an affectionate relationship anyway.)

Dangit I got an idea that won't go away and I won't be able to do it anytime soon. Perhaps somebody will write it sooner than I will and it sorta runs along the same line as sirhugs idea.
We have a father and daughter, mom died years ago. Daughter is turning 19 in two weeks and wants to have sex for the first time with her boyfriend.
