Ropework photos

Hoping for some of those "tying for sexual access" ties you speak of tonight. If so i will encourage picture taking. i may just be in for a basic beating though as my ass is decidedly not sore which makes for a rather cranky alex.

Sounds cool. I look forward to it. I may have to find some time and get motivated, maybe do some sort of tying this week. I will be tying this weekend, but, again, not a photo friendly setting.

I'm glad you'll be doing more tying this weekend, Homburg. I know that makes you happy. As for Alexanna's photo ... wow. Those ropes look really well done. Not that I'm an expert. Obviously. But I like it! :) And I'm so very jealous. I just can't seem to turn off this intense craving I have to be tied. Especially by a certain person or two. <sighs>

We don't do elaborate rope all that often beyond a simple tie to keep my ass still for a caning simply because we don't have much time with 4 small children but it has turned out to be something we both enjoy and when i get the hankering he will usually oblige.

He did do a predicament type bondage a couple weeks ago that was quite challenging, unfortunately we did not take pics. i was forced to stand touching my toes with both ankles and wrists cuffed to a spreader bar. Then he tied my arms behind me from wrist to elbows (i don't know the term for the type of tie but i'm sure you can picture it). A long rope was then tied to a hook on the door several feet in front of me and threaded through the wrist tie. i do not have good balance and was forced to sort of lean back when i lost balance to put weight on the rope going from my arms behind me to the door hook in front. As he caned me i could not move away because i would fall forward. The rope only gave me support if i leaned back. It was pretty amazing. I was very surprised at how much more pain i was able to take without jumping around knowing i would fall on my face if i tried to move away.

That is stunning.

I would love to have someone who could do that to me... sadly, I'm just not able to do that kind of elaborate work to myself.

Thank you LittleJade. i have passed on everyone's comments to Hubby since he's the one who actually does all the work. He did put the clothespins on while he tied so i wouldn't get "bored". He's so thoughtful

We're in the same boat with four kids. Makes life interesting, eh?

This sounds cool. Get some pics next time :D

Like i'm going to suggest we do that one again, my calves were killing me. Actually i do kind of want to do it again just from a training perspective. i often have a hard time taking the pain and don't really like it as it is happening but i really need the soreness in the days after and get upset if i can't feel a session 48 hours later. i find a sore ass is a great treatment for my angst and generally unsettled mind.

He wasn't feeling well so we didn't do anything tonight but i think its definitely on the agenda in the next couple days. If he does any cool predicament stuff again i'll try and remember to remind him to get the camera. He's not really into online discussion at all and i'm usually too busy being tied up and hit with stuff to remember i want photos.

I'd be curious to see the photos too if they were ever taken. And good luck on the next time it happens to you. :)

P.S. I love your avatar. :)

It's sort of rope work:

This is viv's birthday present. It's jewelry-grade black hemp and sterling silver beads. The closure is a heart-shaped loop and a crossbar, both in sterling. It is a choker, obviously, but is also an everyday collar. The astute amongst you may notice that it is woven in the same pattern as her purple rope collar.

She was quite happy with it, and that made all the work, rework, 2nd rework again, etc completely worthwhile.

I've a few more pieces to show next week, so keep an eye out if you're interested.

A very nice birthday present for viv - lovely ropework, too. Excellent work, Homburg, as usual! :rose:

And looking forward to some more pictures! *excited* :D

I still feel kinda weird. I'm standing in the bead shop talking to the lovely older lady running the place, and I'm this big freaky dude with the shaved head, sweat running off off me as I'd biked to get there. The little demure middle aged soccer moms and grandmas in the shop spent a lot of time looking at me too :D

She had the biggest smile on her face as I'm sure my big goofy self talking about trying to do some jewelry for my girls was honestly entertaining for her. I could see the "Awwww, that's sweet" in her eyes :p

Awwww.... that's so sweet! :D So nice to see a man doing things like that for someone he loves, so rare to see (at least in my life! lol)

Oh I need some tying but my Sir says he needs "lessons" and as well he is across the miles and I am here.. *sigh*.... :(

Someone directed towards this thread and that picture and all I can say is wow. That ropework is pure perfection.

Homburg, the ropework gift is exquisite! And I have to 3rd the awww factor.

Thank you, i will pass your comments on to the man with the rope. i certainly enjoyed posing.

And i 4th the awwww on the choker. Its really gorgeous!

I'm thinking maybe i should take a pic for you all of the irrigation pipe he "decorated". i HATE that pipe with a passion!!! Well... i kinda love it too.

You mark up beautifully. I like the modified karada too. Good stuff.

Thank you. Someone told me to look into Midori.... Is there a book you would recommend?

Nevermind, found it.

None of the pictures were viewable. :( Something about too many connections? And, umm, why would someone decorate irrigation pipe? You've got me so curious on that one.

To Homburg-sama:

Happy Birthday VIV-san! and the choker is beautiful!!!

And yes ... if I had been in the accessory store I would have gone all "awwwww how sweet" on you too :rose:

That is incredibly beautiful. Viv is very lucky to receive a gift that shows how much you care. The craftsmanship is equisite. Can't thank you enough for sharing. And it's giving me ideas...perhaps time to begin making jewelry again *meanders off to check bead supply*

Damn those ties are gorgeous additions to a beautiful lady. I think I'm a little jealous and completely in awe. Thank you so much for sharing them. And compliments to the tier. I'm still learning about this art form, but from the pics and my reaction to them I'd have to say wow!!! Kudos are well deserved :rose:

Thank you for your compliments. I took the other pieces I mentioned above to the bead shop to get some advice on clasps, and got some compliments on those too. I'll post them next week.
