How sispect is it? And yes, I am playing on my kiwi accent there LOL

hahahaha - this is why I'm going on one of those crash "learn to type in 4 hours" courses!

I'd like to know people's opinions - If a single women (ie me) is wearing rings (gold, no diamonds) does that mean she's married or has a significant other - even if the ring isn't on her wedding finger?

I would think that gold would indicate a boyfriend yah, but don't take my word for it Pert, we are all liberated feminists nowadays, aren't we? hehe

All it means to me is that she likes wearing rings! :D

When I separated from the ex I removed my rings from my wedding finger a few weeks later. I felt naked without them so I went and bought a couple of other rings to wear on the middle fingers of both hands. They weren't gold though - I decided I'd had enough of that after wearing it for so long.

Hmmm...interesting! I wear rings - two of them were from my parents and one I bought myself. Proudly single. My ex was trying to make me take them off because I'm single. I figured that single guys should know that if it's not on "the ring finger" then I'm single.

I love my rings because they're all I have left. Every other piece of jewellery from my childhood (growing up, 18th and 21st presents, from my grand mothers - both biological and real family sides) were all stolen a few years ago. The only reason these rings were not stolen is because I was wearing them.

Duh! Your ex didn't give you any of the rings so why should it bother him what type and even whether you wear rings or not  Controlling much?

In the USA all the good ones are taken, so more guys would hit on you......hehehe

And some! It's funny the amount of "friendly advice" he's given me since breaking up. Possibly all the things he wasn't quite happy with. The other major one is my cat. WFT? I'm not getting rid of my cat! Apparently having a cat is another 'turn off'. I dunno....I always thought guys LIKED pussies?

If it isn't on the ring finger, then I think it is just a fasion thing.

Like Bandit pointed out, he seems controlling.

Keep your cat, and rings. Alot of good guys out there will like them as well.

Agreed. Seems like the ex is trying to exert control when he really doesn't have any right to....mine tried the exact same thing boy didn't he get pissed off when it didn't work! :D

Yeah, it would take more than my ex nagging to make me get rid of my cat. He's my boy

Thank you all for your support. I really need to stop listening to people who offer 'free advice!! I have been stewing for a few days over this!

It is about time I go to bed.

One last thing, StarGate: The Ark of Truth rocks, the conclusion to the Ori story line started in season 9 and 10 of SG-1.

Stewing isn't good so next time post & get honest feedback.:rose:

A problem shared is a problem halved.

When people hook up, they bring whatever pets they have into the relationship. And whichever guy lets a cat get between him and a hot girl is just asking for a break up :D
