Here's the spin, a slight cut and paste from a reply to our Catalina I just sent.

Just before I went MIA from Lit I got a really big scare , I was so sick I should have been hospitalized but couldn't see the fact because I was very busy being 'Mom'. Lack of more appropriate care led to my inability to breath one night . Believing your mortality is at imminent risk then surviving it can affect general perceptions somewhat.

On the tail end of this I had two family members in severe crisis at once. I won't go into details, it's superfluous. A more intimate relationship issue to finalise emotionally & mentally. Let's just say that enough is enough shall we ?

So I have been devotedly & passionately selfish with my recreational time and dedicating it exclusively to things that bring me the most pleasure. Only glimpses really but I believe that I'm entitled, I have looked in on Lit several times and not seen anything that looks beyond the status quo ( until I noted with horror Mr Masters accident ) so have permitted myself this time out. It's been good for me, I'll be lurking and contributing, more importantly finalising the Library upgrades, the one area that has weighed heavily at the back of my mind outside of the people whom I love, respect and or hold some genuine affection for here.

Promise you'll be sick of my antics in record time Oh yes I do.

Oh and I had to buy a new Vaio too : chuckles :

I am very well thank you Miss Rebecca. I got back from my big trip a little over 12 hours ago, and now I'm fighting the jetlag. But it was SO worth it. I enjoyed both my stay in Malaysia and in Australia a lot. And to me visiting Uluru was very special, it felt like a very spiritual place to me.

As for you spending limited time here, I can just say that to me it sounds like a good idea, to concentrate on yourself, and be well again. Things here can wait a bit, and I'm sure it'll still be here when you get back

Ohh I like Jet-lag it's like being really off the planet with out the assistance of more illicit combinations of substances. Good digs , I say enjoy !

So pleased to hear it ShyGuy though I never had any doubt that you wouldn't. Uluru is a special place, it' where I learned to drive : smiles: Smart man my father, "see girl there is that big rock and nothing but bushland forever , now carefully take your foot off the brake , that's right , that's right, STOP !!! You're veering too much to the left !!!" On a more serious note I understand, it has a very strong feeling of resonance, I must drag the young master out there sometime soon.
