I can't reach to shave my back.

I can't reach to shave my toes either.

The back and toe hair was blond. It's now white and both are barely noticeable (unless someone tries to pull the hair out!).

Bearded since high school. I have no idea what I'd look like without it.

You could also cheat like I do and use a 3-in-1 body wash/shampoo/conditioner (ex wife got me hooked on Philosophy stuff). :)

Oooohh, I LOVE Philosophy. I use Amazing Grace, but not on my hair. Just as body wash, and I also have the huge pump bottle of moisturizer.

Everyone keeps telling me how good I look in a beard. Unfortunately, my facial hair has the consistancy of #24 copper wire. As you can imagine, my love life is much better when I'm clean shaven. I guess in my case, "beard burn" is no joke.

#24 copper wire really hurts when it's an 1/8 of an inch.

Gimme fur and lots of it. I don't care where.

MMmmmmmmm, fur. A gentleman such as Sir Og, ooohhh, there's something luxurious about a full, well manicured curly beard - it speaks of comfort and love of things voluptuous, food, words, wine and sex. I just love to curl my fingers in one such as that. I'm afraid this kind of beard is responsible for many Santa assaults.

Your straight, errr - yes, copper wire beard, most often, as well as usually fairly stringently trimmed - is indicative of a strong, more straightforward mentality, and I am reminded of Hemmingway - where the wilds speak spare poetry. There is an urgency there, a virility I have found most - engaging. :D

Your goatee is a statement, a style - these gentleman are usually very well groomed and smell nice, and they usually know how to most enjoyably apply all kinds of lickin's..

Give me down to there, hair...how long can it get? This comes of two mindsets - the first one being of one with no razor. This can be good or bad, depending on whether this gentleman being one with no soap.
The second thought is that the longer it is, the more - err - pettable it is. It feels nice to the touch, usually being trimmed, conditioned and combed -treated at the male equivalent of the woman's glory, a mane of soft, shining tresses. *ooooohhshiver*

Your wispy spare beard is most often found on our more sensitive gentlemen, they are often untrimmed, and are as soft as a tentative kiss. There is promise there of more, however.

Watch out, I'm dangerous. Three-day stubble - pfaugh - the male equivalent of silicone breasts. Do you know they actually have little teeny pushmowers that make thie effect? A product of Hollywood, with as much substance. No dangerous men near my pussy, please.

When I had a beard everyone always told me to shave it off. There hasn't been any real difference in my life sinc eI have though.

I was thinking, I should get some jeans, put on my boots and Jack Daniel's T-shirt and see what kind of reaction I can get.

Dude! If you don't even own a pair of jeans, you can't have a beard. It's that simple. It's like having a motorcycle helmet but no motorcycle. It's just so wrong. You need to shave that sucker off before you upset the equilibrium of the universe and plunge us into another dimension.

Well, you might get stopped by the police...but you'll also get jumped by the ladies.

And I'm gonna wanna see a picture ;)

I love kissing a man with a beard. I love kissing girls too, of course, but a kissing a man with a beard lets me know he's a man! LOL.....:kiss::kiss::rose:

I wish my wife liked the way I looked with a beard, becuase I'm a lazy so-and-so and hate shaving. But I have to admit, I look older and creepier with a beard. So do most guys IMO.

Also when I havent shaved it makes cunnilingus like masturbating with a Brillo pad, or so I'm told.

--- I never really believed that scene in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore where Ellen Burstyn likes Kris Kristofferson's beard and calls it "soft".

My beard came off... and with it, a dozen years.
Ah, there is that. I have a friend who had the face of a kid and always looked like he was still in high school. He grew a beard to make him look older, which it did; in fact, it gave him a very distinguished, evil genius appearance. Just recently, however, he'd been getting a lot of gray in the beard and looking, in his opinion, like someone's grandfather. So he shaved it off and looks a good decade younger.

All depends on whether you want/need to look mature or youthful.

LOL

For years I was clean shaven or at the most had a thin mustache. (Regs.) Then I moved to Florida and got out of the Fire Department. I grew my mustache as well as a short spade shaped Goatee.

After a bit I also stopped shaving my head and allowed my hair to grow. I now have a 15 inch Pony Tail and a short beard. (I have been told by more than a couple of people that when I have my hair down I look like Jesu, or at least his evil brother.)

I now have plenty of grey in my beard and I'm starting to get some in my hair as well. I could care less, I'm earning every strand of it.

As for how it makes me look? I could care less what other people think. I like it and my wife likes it, that's all that matters to me.

As for which--clean shaven or goatee--depends on the gent and his chin there. But most guys with a bald head, IMHO, look best with a goatee. The Boota look :D Verrry hot!

:)

I have to say - the bald head and the goatee seems to do the trick. When I had long hair I got quite a bit of female attention. But the day I shaved my head... off the charts.

That's funny. You look very similar to my brother, and I think he has found the same thing.

However, there's more than the visual to consider. How does it FEEL? :catroar:
I came into this thread intending to post about this, and omg, I just loved how an unshaven face felt against parts of my body.

IMO, you look better without. :)

Same case with a friend of mine too. He looked about 16 with no beard, and looks more his age with one. I agree, it depends on the face. Beards suit some people, don't suit others.

I grow a full beard in late September and shave except for mustache at Easter.
