Old Hippies

I was at Woodstock, too.
Visited a couple more rock festivals in the succeeding years, and spent a few months on the road. Hitchhiking, not like Kerouak.
Tried most of the drugs of the era.
Still have my beard, but I'm pretty clean now, otherwise.
Do I qualifY?

I remember those days. Went alot of places hitchhiking. Live in florida now. Grow a beard in the winter time. Only smoke a little funny stuff once in awhile. Still like to drink beer. but do to health I have slowed down. I guess we do. qualify.

You can keep a beard year-round in New England.
I don't go looking for anything interesting to smoke any more, but if it finds me.....

No beard here, but still managed to hold on to the long hair (although dreads long gone). Glad to see so many of us jammin here on lit.

Did you ever actuallly have sex in one of those parking lots?
I never did. But then, I went to most of my GD concerts w/ my wife. We usually had somewhere more comfortable.

I left a concert in Cleveland, with a hippie guy and 2 hippie gals in VW bus. We went to AZ. Was a great trip.

Must have been the tour that's in the movie "Gimme Shelter" that ended in Altamont.
