My new crush

She's cute but I've got a whole bunch of minature versions of her in my Phillipine population down here on the OC border. You really ought to swing by some time. Gorgeous little things.
I will be swinging by sometime, soon!

She does remind me of a girl I had a crush on in high school-- Rachel, who was a flirt and Catholic. ;) I live in Little Manila up here, myself-- my corner store is like being in Luzon or something. Fresh, fresh fish...

But Karen is not Filipina, she's Madras/Chinese, from the Himalayas. (I'm not finding much onfo online) The Old Man thought she looked Thai. I think she looks... delectable.

Consider yourself my personal guest. You can even bring the OM. We're very proud of our school. We have diversity you wouldn't believe, greater growth in our API scores than any other in the district, a GATE the district HQ considers to be the model for the district (and I'm in charge of it, thanx) and because we just got a huge Magnat School grant, a really slick new paint job.
Just check in with office and tell the staff that Walter invited you.

And if you come right after school, you can come and watch the Mandarin Chinese class that meets in my room. Uh, no, I don't teach it, just provide the space.

Wow, thanks! :rose:

You watched Colour of Magic then
No, I haven't, but I ran across the production company's website.

Tim Curry-- is he playing Ridcully? How cool is that!

Color of Magic? Ridcully? Fuck that! Ridcully doesn't show up until Moving Pictures. God, I hate the movie industry!

*Settles back down, takes long, deep breath*

That's better. Has anyone got a way of getting the Pratchett TV films over here? I'm somewhat dubious but would like to have real data before I go off . . . again.

I can copy Hogfather for you *Wink* that's out on DvD now so check Amazon. The Colour of Magic was rather excellent too. Pratchett had his hand in both - to the point of doing a Hitchcock - and they can probably be found on mininova torrent site.

Oh, good. I'll get a couple of copies. My entire family, or at least the male parts, are all devoted Pratchett fans.
