Sadly i have never known any LARP groups so never gotten very actively involved

I mentioned that I had a piercing story with a few pics, so here it is.

Here we have an unremarkable belly button piercing in a very remarkable belly button.

Life has been interesting lately. I found myself travelling quite a long ways to see a young woman, and had no idea honestly what to expect. What I found was that she was everything that I thought she was, and more, and she felt the same about me. There was a barrier, and that was resolved at great emotional cost by this remarkable young woman, leaving her free to contemplate finding her place with me.

Happily, thankfully, she did

Before I left to return home, we shopped for some reminder she could wear, something to give tangible evidence of her decision, her offer, and my acceptance, and the topic of a piercing was brought up. She'd expressed interest in such a thing a while back, and it struck us both as very appropriate. After much searching, we found an open tattoo shop (and a very good one), and they set in to do the work.

The redoubtable young man working the shop went through his rituals of cleansing and preparing his space and brought forth a formidable looking needle. Placing his gloved hands firmly on this woman who was so important to me, he began to press. The pain was clear on her face, and far more than they had advised, and exertion was obvious in the young man's face. After he stopped, we found why it had failed:

The needle bent. Yes, her skin and stomach was made of sterner stuff that the 12ga surgical steel razor sharp needle. It is clearly rolled, and was in perfectly good shape when he pulled it from the package (I watched him tear open the package and inspect the needle before use). He pushed this needle almost a centimeter into her flesh without breaking the skin.

In amazement, he offered to break out another needle and try again, and she opted to do so. I was forced to stand before the counter and watch as she went through it again. This time he worked the needle back and forth, cutting her skin with circular motions. It did not happen quickly, and the pain was brutal, but it happened.

She sat in a handy chair, and proceeded to get light-headed. I informed them that I was coming behind the counter, and caught her before she could fall. Set her on an exam table, held her hand, stroked her hair, and marvelled that she would do this for me.

Truly a remarkable young woman, and I am so very proud to call her mine.

Wow, thats great! It's crazy that she bent the needle!

I'm so happy for you both! :) All the best :rose:

i did not "get light headed".

i stood up, looked in the mirror, and proceeded to pass the fuck out. i dont remember what happened then but from the retelling i heard, he did not "inform them he was going behind the counter" but told them so and didnt wait for a response.

the next thing i remember he was standing me over calling me back from wherever it was that i went.

I was already moving before I said anything, yeah.

The lskinny guy behind the counter decided it was probably better judgement to not say anything to me. Smart guy, as I was not about to listen.
