That was something I didn't do...actually click on them. If they link back here then I'm not sure I see the problem...except that the site was probably set up without the permission of the administrators (which some site administrators have a serious problem with).

It's not a real search engine. It's clearly making a buck somewhere, but it's not really plagiarism.

There's just a nasty odor about it. Why are shang's stories reformatted?

Google makes money when you use it. If I google "oggbashan" I get results like AskJolene.

My stories are not "formatted" on AskJolene but just run on from the copyright notice through the title to the text. If you want to read my story you have to follow the link to Literotica.

If the story is short perhaps it will appear in full but all I see of mine is the first few paragraphs as a solid block of text.

She gives a link - readable is taking it a bit far - after all, I'm there, as well as scouries.

Their links are right directly back to Lit stories on Lit. It is just a search engine as far as I can tell.

A. Right. No infringement. It's a search engine. It's not posting the stories; it's indexing them to where they are posted--on Literotica. It's free publicity. A good thing.

(I'm a little miffed that they only index 150 of my 277 stories posted here--but they are prety muchup to date; they have my recent Earth Day Contest review indexed. I'll also note that, as far as my stories go, they are definitely indexing to Lit. and only to Lit.--which we might take as flattering. I post on other sites, but this is the only place I post as sr71plt--and nothing is indexed to my other pen name.)

B. I'll repeat what I've said before that I think it would be a little two-faced for this Web site to be pursuing copyright infringement, because it permits copyright infringement here left and right (and the posters here do it and tolerate it--so they would be two-faced too to complain about it).

Maybe when you do a search. I went to the directory listing and clicked on a story by Femininity. it displays in full on that site and they get to expose ad views on it. If I click on her name, I come to a story list. That list also contains a whole lot of stories that Fem does not have on Lit (but titles I recognize). Removed here, perhaps?

Lit doesn't have exclusive right tio stories, but unless all of you submitted then to askjolene, this is good old copyrihght infrigment all over again. And what Og said about it just showing a short part... not in this case. It's the full story, in sections if needed, just like on Lit.

SR, my man! We agree on something! My beef, as a songwriter, is copyright infringement of music, which seems to be pretty common on this board. A few months ago, when I got in everybody's face about it, I alienated a lot of people, people who get pissed when Literotica stories get pilfered by other websites. Go figure.
