Flicking through the outer reaches of the net, I bumped into a strange site "askjolene.com". It claims to be an erotic story site and a search engine but all the stories I can find are lit authors.

I know I shouldn't post links, but this is a bit different. Almost every lit author is linked there (except tickledkitty and sweetwitch which makes me wonder if marsh is behind it).

Seriously, some lit authors - eg boxlicker, alexander1, black shang, angela146 and barondesade - have had all their stories reformatted and posted (with credit to the author). For the rest of us, including scouries and even me, if you put "author:my name without any gaps,underscores or punctuation", include the inverted commas, a very nice page appears listing all our posts here with a paragraph of description. When you click on the link, you bounce back to the lit site. Duh?

It just doesn't seem right to me, but what do you guys say?

Only one of mine is up there... but huh?No one asked me if they could repost my story...

ABS there's almost all the lit authors up there, even KillerMuffin and Og, but it does claim to be a search engine and gives credit to writers. What is the crime here if all they give is a link?

I'll PM Laurel now for information, but what is the crime - except scouries artificially inflating his figures?
 
It doesn't seem any different than a Google search turning up your stories on Lit. What's the problem? :confused::confused:

as long as we get credit, I'm cool. I just want things to be legit.

Their links are right directly back to Lit stories on Lit. It is just a search engine as far as I can tell.
 
When you type Sexxy Vixen in the search box, it comes up with 147 stories, but all of them are linked back to Lit.

I guess checking with Laurel is the best way to find out. :)
 
almost all of mine are there. even the ones from last week. All are linked back to Lit as far as I can tell.

Og the prolific

Edited: Jeanne D'Artois gets 2 pages as well.

I can't see a problem. They all link back to the story on Literotica.

Wow. Yep some of my stories are on there too. I don't know if it's right or not...they're giving us credit but on the other hand it still seems like they're stealing work.

Og, that's my problem.

It's not a real search engine. It's clearly making a buck somewhere, but it's not really plagiarism.

There's just a nasty odor about it. Why are shang's stories reformatted?
