TastyTooter and the Mystery of the Screwed-Up NPR Podcasts

Im a friend of public transportation. I like the cars, the stink, the unsmiling conductors, the convoluted fare charts, and my fellow passengers. Everyday Im at the mercy of the train, and its hurt me before, but I keep coming back. Its fun.
But it means I need daily entertainment for the ride in to town; often I have something to read, an alt.weekly or a book, but I've come to rely on NPR podcasts to make those 45 minutes entertaining AND enlightening. And my preferred public radio personality is Terry Gross, she of Fresh Air. So every morning (except Sunday and Monday, alas) I equip myself with updates and head to the tracks.
Except lately, things have been...strange. The podcasts that are uploaded are only 7 or 8 minutes long, not even the length of a single interview. Sometimes the truncated file is a repeat of the previous day, and just as often the repeat is even shorter than it was before. I assumed something was amiss at Fresh Air headquarters, but then the virus spread to NPR Jazz Profiles. Clearly forces of chaos are working a sort-of technological hoodoo on NPR Central.
Or so I thought.
Now I realize what's been happening all along. That our Questiongirl is attractive beyond measure, no one would debate. But did you know that her beauty actually generates this intensely powerful electromagnetic field that specifically targets National Public Radio podcast uploads? Its bizarre, but I had a few scientists look into it and they assured me that the beeping, flashing instruments all said that, yes, shes getting more powerfully sensual by the minute, and if left unchecked we won't have any more DVDs, CDs, film, or an electric grid.
Im looking forward to that, too. Soon the podcasts won't be updated at all...all the print in books will have been wiped clean...Ill have nothing to do on the train but meditate on her perfect figure, which by that point will be indelibly impressed on our brains...at least until the trains stop running. Then I'll stand by the tracks at my stop, grateful for the invisible pulse that is hot without burning, insistent without deafening.
=tt

I make pizzas sometimes at work......either a ''traditional'' styled pie or an ''upside down'' pie....cheese first then sauce.....and I usually use a lot of sauce. Well if I get paid in the same fashion I would for yardwork....hell I think I'll be right over then. :D

LOL.....perv. :p Nothing wrong with that, at least you're honest. :D:kiss:
