Why No Under 18 stories?

First, I'm not starting this post to get it locked, so do not post innappropriate content. But, I am ready to get things hot right off the bat.

I want to discuss:

The reasoning behind censoring fictional erotica with characters that are under 18 (where those characters are involved in erotic behavior).

(This is not intended to be directed against this site, but all sites or any governmental policy that may prohibit it, so please don't take offense that I am singling only this site out. In otherwords, don't take it personal, it's not intended that way.)

Is this subject matter considered abuse? Is it profane? Vulgar? Immoral? Illegal? Or, what?

I'm ready to argue with you, because I am absolutely against any form of censorship, except it be:

1. Inciting hatred on a significanlty large political scale, or
2. Reveals ideas that may be dangerous to large groups of people, i.e., such as chemical recipes that could be easily created then used to kill large masses of people.

Are you ready to rumble, because I'm going to smack down any argument you have by using simple reason. Get ready for the intellectual beat down. Or, stand and battle with me.

Hi geiaosdlei, welcome to the AH. As far as I can tell the over 18 rule has to do with liability issues. Why have underage sex if you're going to get sued and shut down. The owners want to make a living. It has nothing to do with censorship in the way you present it.

most of the people come here to write good 'clean' fun stories. child pornography is none of those things. unless you want to be inundated with sicko's (and i work with them, i'm allowed to call them that, it's a technical term), who's only goal is to get off on what most people would deem completely unsuitable. The fact of the matter is, beastiality and child pornography ARE against the law. if you want to continue to come and enjoy the services literotica offers, you play by the rules. i have no problem with that.

I'm doing my research first, because I'm not rich enough to hire an attorney to do it for me. It is one reason why I started this thread.

I personally know censorship it's not reasonable, so I don't mind an argument to prove it. That's easy. But, I need to know the level of ignorance in America, I need to know their weak arguments well enough, so I can manage my fiction around it or publish in a more liberal country.

truth be told, i'm too lazy to find the law for you. but yes, most states still have specific laws against child pornography. and the supreme court ruled against it years ago.....hell there are laws that still state how many times a year you can have sex (in order to prevent prostitution)....go to any state, and you'll find old laws that were never taken off the books

You never told me how pleasure transforms from dirty to clean based soley on the age of human cells. Do you have physical evidence or just emotional associations that have no empirical basis?
