For Firefox Users..

I have come to the conclusion that the boys at Microsoft are just too uptight to be cool.

My fave extensions/add-ons:

Adblock Plus - blocks annoying ads, images you don't like (e.g. humongous/irritating images in sigs, awful AV's) with a simple right-click :D

Colorful Tabs - colors the tabs so they're easy to keep track of. I thought this was kinda stupid at first, but now I'm hooked!

Get Directions from Google Maps
- lets you highlight any address, right-click and open a map to the location in a new window or tab. You can enter multiple frequently used addresses (home, work, etc.) to get directions from those locations, too.

Tabmix Plus - Adds options to the right-click menu, like undoing tabs you accidentally closed, opening links different ways; has an awesome session saver that recovers your stuff when your browser crashes or you can save a specific session for later use; other handy features

IETab - Lets you open links in Internet Explorer. Some sites work better in IE, so this can be helpful.

You can get all of these from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ by simply typing some/all of the names into the search box. :)

LOL K's jealous. He prefers IE, and he's like 'how'd you get your tabs to do that?'. :D

Two very nice add-on for firefox users:

Piclens (Only for Windows users)
Full-Screen, 3D -- PicLens transforms your browser into a visually stunning experience for enjoying photos and videos across the web. Our interactive "3D Wall" lets you effortlessly search and zoom your way around thousands of images and YouTube videos faster and more immersively than ever before.

Cooliris Previews
Cooliris Previews gives you the power to browse and share Web links and rich media faster. Just mouse over any link, and the Cooliris preview window immediately appears to show you the content. To email it, just click.

Hope you enjoy them! :)

Seems a bit unnecessary. A lot of addons can really slow down the program.
I personally have used a tab2style (I think is the name) plugin that styles the tab with the CSS of the page you're viewing so you can distinguish them more easily.

Ad block is wonderful. I used a few tab addons but with the newer versions of firefox, you really don't need them; most of those options are built in.

I use launchy to easily open things in IE or other programs like Notepad
