hmmmm, I see it - and it makes me come up.....

I wonder why it won't load for you when you can see the others?

Wooops, now it is there! and oh-so-delicious breasts.... *drool*

But - always happy to see you come up, Papa Shank! *melting look*

**Comes in dragging blankie, Diet Pepsi, and teddy bear**

It's been a rough day.

And where's bijou?????

I'm still waiting for the knock on the door with camera in hand...

I guess I will have to coerce a girl tomorrow night when I'm at work and we're all nekkie in the dressing room

sigh...

Okay, here's the deal, bijou is trying to collect for a "Bring Homburg to Kansas" fund. If it succeeds, I'll bring the camera, and you bring hotness. Sound like a deal?

Aaaawwww, cuuuuute! I looove Mr. Ed!

Even though, wasn't he sort of a grumpy know-it-all? Its so long since I saw him as a child... (As a rerun, of course! I'm too young to have seen it when it was new... :D)

Btw. Papa Shank, good morning! *jumps over, huggleflufflesquishies Papa and is away again*

Your new prayer wheel is so cool! What does it pray for? If it is for peace in the world, I want to have one too!

For me it calls to remind me - compassion and wisdom = compassion for all beings and wisdom to know that suffering is part of this experience.

H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama's definition

"It is very good to recite the mantra Om mani padme hum, but while you are doing it, you should be thinking on its meaning, for the meaning of the six syllables is great and vast... The first, Om [...] symbolizes the practitioner's impure body, speech, and mind; it also symbolizes the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[...]"

"The path is indicated by the next four syllables. Mani, meaning jewel, symbolizes the factors of method: (the) altruistic intention to become enlightened, compassion, and love.[...]"

"The two syllables, padme, meaning lotus, symbolize wisdom[...]"

"Purity must be achieved by an indivisible unity of method and wisdom, symbolized by the final syllable hum, which indicates indivisibility[...]"

"Thus the six syllables, om mani padme hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[...]"

Oh, yes, thank you a lot!

Do you think I could also have one? Where could I find it?

I heard my name! That's so flattering! golly.

That is indeed a gorgeous prayer wheel. A lot of people translate it literally as 'hail the jewel in the lotus'. When I use it, I'm often thinking of it as trying to go deeply to the center of understanding, further and further into the bell of the flower.

Prayer wheels work.

And I'm about to get a bit more serious about this completely selfish endeavor to bring Homburg to Kansas. I promise I'll share him.

because Homburg belongs to everyone...

But it might not be a bad idea to do a little brainstorming about a gathering, sometime in the future. There seem to be a buncha buncha folks around this area who need to meet up.

And I'd kill to be able to worship at Shankara's, um, feet.
