Maybe it's March Madness, but that is the posting date on a story submitted a few days ago. That's three days from now. Actually, it's two days and eight hours from the time I saw it and 9:00 Tuesday night, which will be when it posts. Still that sems like a long time ahead.

It's not unusual to see a posting date that I know to be 12 hours in the future, but this was about the longest notice I have ever seen.

Maybe you're living backwards in time, like Merlin.

I've had dates appear that far in the future before. Probably means that Laurel is going to have something going on for a few days, so she's trying to take some of the load off to free time up.

Once something has a date, the system automatically adds it to your author page at midnight, and to the new page on the next update ( which may be several hours later )

So anything that gets an approval date now will go up without further intervention. Fill up the queue, and take a day off :D

Is it possible that the story in question was confused to be a chapter story and that chapter 1 will be posted Monday and then that story posted on Tuesday?
Based on my chapter stories that are posted one a day sometimes the posting date is 4-5 days ahead.

Yeah, that's how stories are usually posted when they are in chapters. This is strictly a single, stand-alone story, and won't even have a sequel. :D
