Dear Universe,

Thank you for answering my call for help so quickly. Not only did the interview go well, but so did the next. Which is a wonderful thing, as the first place never ended up being able to book any appointments.

Now I'm asking for something else. Something important to me. Please, please send out your energies to those who helped in this. I know a few of them are having a hard time of it, each in their own way, and they don't deserve it - from what I can see of their situations. Please turn your attention toward them for a while. They need and deserve a little help.

Then, if there is any left when you're done with that, could you turn toward my living situation? I know nothing about what would be best at this point. You know as well as I do that I'm torn about leaving. I want to stay because I love him so deeply, but at the same time it might be better if I lived alone for a while. He seems determined that it would be the best course of action, and if I left, it would be for that - because it's what he wants, not what i want.

Perhaps, if it would be better for me to stay, you can help him to appreciate how far i've come. Help me to show him in some way that i've improved. That my focus is where it should be - more than his is at this point - and that i'm doing everything possible to do what needs to be done. Maybe you could help me show him that i deserve a little respect, a little more appreciation... and his love in return. Maybe you can help me show him that i'm better off than what he thinks, and better for him than he seems to realise at the moment.

Maybe you can help me show him that this 'distraction' is part of what it will take to make me happy with myself. That i've worked for it, and deserve the leeway to do this.

Maybe a lot of things.

But, first and foremost, please give back to everybody that has helped me. You know I'm strong enough to stand up to this for some time yet, and that they need this more right now.

Heh, once upon a time when I was in the corporate world, we had a "President's Club" shindig in Puerto Rico and I had a treatment at the supposedly-world-famous Golden Gate Spa. Meh. Lots of hype for nothing special that I couldn't get by laying in a muddy field and having someone touch me...and it probably cost my company about $500 for the hour.

Anyway, I see you thanking the universe for getting a break (that I assume you desperately needed), and for that I am very glad. I smell the sweet scent of empowerment--make the best of it, dear.
