Papa Shank, i love the fishnet look; but it wasnt until the lacey panties pic that i finally realized the vining tattoos are from that beautiful yellow rose on your thigh.

Great work!:rose:

The vine went on several years before the rose. The vine start at the flames on my pubic mound then meander around my torso, the rose grows from the vine, as will other flower tattoos as $$$$ allow in the future.

i have always felt that tattoos have "meaning" for the person inscribed with them. Especially with as much ink as Yours.

Would there be a meaning to Yours? And sorry if i am being nosey. i just love to know the different "meanings" for peoples tattoos.:rose:

Indeed - there is meaning to all my tattoos, thanks for asking.

The story of the vine tattoo that wraps my torso is a bit long winded - but here goes: it all starts with the fire on my pubic mound representing passion. Not just sexual passion, but all passion. From passion comes growth = hence the vines. You might notice that the vines have thorns and a few draw blood, well with growth that is often some pain = so a few bloody thorns. And there is also beauty = the flower. That yellow rose is to celebrate my first wife who died in a car accident in 1982 - she was driving and we were all in the jeep including our two teenage sons (they were not seriously physically injured). Our wedding flowers were yellow roses = hence the rose tattoo. She bore us two sons = hence the two rose buds included in the tattoo. I placed that tattoo on the scar from the skin graph they took to repair the chunk of my leg damaged by a burn in the accident.

I hope to add other flowers as $$$$ allow - flowers for my two sons, my grandchildren, my second wife (now an ex), for the ProDomme I lived with in San Francisco, my now girlfriend, and others

The whole tattoo took 6 settings and over $3,000.00 - it was done in San Francisco - all done freehand. It was the first pubic mound she, the artist, had ever done on a male - she is lesbian. I designed a cock-sock to wear on my equipment while she did her work. When it came time to do the vine growing out of my bum she asked how far down the crack she could go - bent over before her I told her "as far as you wish":eek: Shy she was not

~hugs~ Thank You for allowing us a glimpse into Your life thru Your tattoos, Papa. Am so sorry for Your loss, but the ink truly expresses Your growth (no pun intended) past some if not all the pain.

And the crack...more power to You, thats one area i don't even ever think about getting inked....yikes

and one in my fancy lace...

now - Shank has work to do today girls and boys,
so play nice and I'll be home tonight ;)

THAT picture will DEFINITELY make me play really really nice.

Shanka-sama, it's really beautiful that you continue to tell your own story on your own skin, turning something heartbreaking into something beautiful. You have my respect. And you provide an example for anyone walking through deep grief.

anyway.

* off to play *

Thank you for sharing sweet Shankara-san. I don't mean that snarky like it sort of sounds; I mean that between the pics and the things you share with us, you have a pair of brass ones!

And I just read your post explaining your tattoo. That is amazing. Its so refreshing to see a tattoo with meaning, importance and beauty that tells a story.

After my friend got tattoo # bazillion and one that said "brooklyn" in gothic script, I had just about given up on tattoos as an art form.

Now I remember why I like them :)

I have stories about all my tattoos - for me they are stories.

Man, I've been known to frequently say that EVERYONE looks good in fishnets, and you, my dear, are further proof. Thats a great photo!

those fishnet photos were some time ago, and I was shaving my body then

these are from today..

Anybody really know what time it is????

is red any better???

oh my goodness! Both are fabulous, but I have to say, I am in LOVE with the red.

If anyone asked me where to keep a pocket watch, I have to admit, that particular place would have never occurred to me! It is quite ingenious, but if your keeping your pocket watch there, where do you keep your flask? ;)

All of the fishnet photos are amazing, and I would love to see more!
