Ya Know You're Old When....

You know you're older when the music you grew to is now played on Elevators.

Your first three cars had the exact same engine. You just moved it from body to body as they rotted out.

You know what a Backhouse is and how to take care of one.

You remember a time when AIDS wasn't a part of life.

Your graduation year is way too close to the first page of the college 'class notes.'

All metal cars period. and I'm talking steel, not aluminum. Then fender on my first car was stronger than bumpers today.

True! No plastic door panels back in the day. And there were fake chrome knobs on the dashboard and locks.

A friend had a 64 Chevy truck and a guy with a new one ran into the rear in a parking lot. $2500 damage to the new one. We fixed the bumper on the 64 with some sandpaper and spray paint :D

You mean it actually required repair? I'm shocked. They just don't make them like they did in the 50s and 40s when you just left it because there wasn't any damage in the first place ;)
(kidding, I know there would still be damage)

Please, everyone who has played Guitar Hero should be ashamed of themselves if they don't know Boston and Kansas, anyway. :p

I've just only heard them through my playstation ;)

Oh, well, now you're getting modern. I was already in my late thirties before video games even came around, let alone playstations. Pinball machines used to be the thing, with their flashing lights and bells and loud scoreboards.

I've actually heard that Rock Band and Guitar Hero may be leading a resurgence in Classic Rock. Introducing the classic guitar songs to a younger generation.

Speaking of music.

Do you remember when country and western were two different syles of music.

When I first started listening, which was about the time Hank Williams died, it was called Hillbilly music.
