Name 3 areas of deep knowledge that you possess

alvar is a limestone pavement habitat that is found on Lake Huron (among other places worldwide). Because of the predominant uninterrupted rock and thin soil cover, it is home to very specific types of life.

wow I'm fucking boring.

Giving you full credit.

I think my problem is my areas of knowledge are too easy to lump together. Technology for instance is a very broad term. I have decently deep knowledge about computer hardware. Given an hour or two I can teach myself any software program you can throw at me. Cell phones, iPods, and otherwise don't confuse me at all. I can program a VCR.

Sports as well. I know most of the rules/regulations/stats of the NFL, NBA, and MLB.

I bought an MSR campstove that cost as much as a mortgage payment.

Hoo boy, you ARE ill aren't you? Can you at least cook a whole bison on the darn thing?

I recently bought a japanese style vegetable cleaver that cost $50 on sale. It's soooo fine.

In no particular order..
Birds and bird related stuff.

Birds? I was able to find the nesting spot of a Ferruginous Hawk (Buteo Regalis). I had it confirmed last year. Why is this cool? It's the furthest one west that they have found with a nest site. They usually are in the Alberta to Mexico range.

Hummingbirds frighten me. Aggressive little peckers.

They are only after your sweet nectar, little one.

How about a thread to name 3 things you have absolutely no knowledge of?

I can't think of 3 things, maybe that's cuz I'm a scatterbrain that needs to have a
hand in everything.

Note to all dumbasses out there. You'll notice that spelling and grammar is not among my three.

It's highly efficient, uses about a third of the fuel of a comparable conventional cookstove.
And it's extremely lightweight. The thing just floats off your hand.

Ah...got it. Upgraded technology, lighter materials = $$$

??

As in arguing? Or smackdowns? Or what?

Both actually, but I prefer ass kicking. Hell, I use my fridge as a punching bag. What does that tell you.

It tells me that in a fight I'd want to be more agile than a fridge.

What subjects are your forte? Where is your deepest knowledge? On what can you expound upon until you are blue in the face?

I am off to work, to use a couple of mine. Make me proud. I will check back.

Computer engine controls and automotive emmision control systems.
Moral philosophy
Anal Sex.

I notice that most people are inserting some sort of sexual art or knowledge as their third. Maybe I am not alone.

There are some great wildflowers that grow on alvar, silverweed (a cinquefoil), blue vervain, swamp milkweed (brings in lots of butterflies) and my favourite:
This is a picture of Fringed Gentian growing out of a typical limestone formation found in alvar regions.
Okay, I'll stop now.

See now I find that kind of stuff very interesting.
