So, we eat bear battered halibut and drink beer for two days?

I don't see a problem.

And I don't see an invitation, yet.

You told me Alaska was so kickass that you could never venture out of the state to see another state. I know the other state was Utah, which is not much of a state really, but the fact remains that you would have to at least fly over Utah to get to the turkey fry. Or not.

You are invited to Denver to eat turkey or visit tittie bars anytime. Moab is optional.

Me too!

Or any hair color. I am not picky.

sea chanty style:

a blondie, a blackie, a redheaded whore
and a nubian princess to sweep up the floor

a blondie, a blackie, a redheaded doll
and a little old lady to cook for them all.

more rum!

come down in March and we can all have some coffee, together.

I made blondie brownies tonight, they don't have any baking powder or soda in them, so they aren't cakey. They are my favorite...chewy! I also added a teaspoon and a half of pure coffee extract to the batter (along with the vanilla), and oh my GOD did that add an immense depth of flavor. I love this recipe because you can add in anything you want, tonight it was coconut and semi-sweet chocolate chunks.

I made these today with almond extract, butterscotch chips, white and semi-sweet as well. They are delish, thanks Tati. :rose:

I had Greek for dinner tonight - the food, not the sex.

I'd tell you want it was, but even the Greek-to-English translations are beyond my level of education to understand.

Ok, I'll admit it. I had to look up Greek sex in the Urban Dictionary.

*gah* These are sooo good!

Especially coming out of the oven warm.

I tweaked the recipe a bit to make them the way I wanted them. I have been getting raves at work. I like feeding the employees :D

Best Ever Three Chocolate Toffee cookies:

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened (use real butter!)
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
1 Cup dark chocolate morsels
1 Cup milk chocolate morsels
1 8oz bag of toffee bits (I like chocolate, so I get the chocolate covered bits..mmm!)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease baking sheets. (I just use parchment or nonstick Reynolds foil instead of greasing everything down.)

With an electric mixer, beat butter and shortening at medium speed until creamy; gradually add sugars, beating until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in chocolate morsels and toffe bits. Drop cookies by 1/4 cupfuls about 3-inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 11 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool for 2 minutes on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks to cool.

I store mine in ziplock bags, and if they're not eaten right away, they'll last for days this way.
