Spring Awakening

So last weekend I went to New York City with a friend and we got tickets to go see the hot new musical Spring Awakening.

I heard before it was raunchy in some parts and heard the music but it has a few good scenes of BDSM greatness and I loved every minute of it.

For instance in one part the lead female character begs for the lead male to wip her with a branch to which he protests but then calls her a "fucking bitch" and beats her on stage....It may not have been real but it was still amazing.

Anyone see it yet?

I definately suggest seeing it if you havnt.

Yaaayyy someone else saw it too! My friend and I werent even planned to see it but we were in NYC and decided we would try to get tickets for it. I had heard the music and all but seeing it was just outrageous and I loved every minute of it. I'm wicked jealous that you saw it all original cast. I guess a while ago the actor that played Moritz had left so we had one newcommer but everyone else I believe was original.

You need to, its so good. You can get tickets for $30; its standing room though. But still, $30 for a broadway show is really good. Its not ridiculously long either so standing isnt so bad.

Hmm, sounds good. I saw one of their performances on a talk show; it was so good. I would see the show any way I could. It reminds me a bit of RENT which is my favorite.

A lot of it is like Rent, they dont sugar coat how life is and I love it. (Btw Rent is coming off broadway in June! *Cries*)

You should go see it, I would do it again in a heartbeat even standing through it. Its sooooo worth it!!
