I submitted my first story via my profile, via the C &P method.
I misread the description of the Pending status on one of the FAQ pages, thinking that Pending meant the story hadn't been reviewed and that I could still make changes. <cringe>
So within 24 to 36 hours of first sumitting the story, I clicked on the Pending tab which takes you to Make Changes, which I did. Several times. When I clicked Preview, said changes appeared. Then I clicked submit.
I went back to the FAQ page in question and read that edits must be resubmited with the word EDIT in the title.
Will the changes I made over the weekend, while the story was in Pending status not appear in the submission because I didn't put Edit behind the title? Should I go back in and do this?
"Have you made changes to the work OR even just viewed it & hit SUBMIT while it is "Pending"? Stories and poems are approved by date, oldest to newest. Whenever the author makes changes to a story or poem - oreven if the author clicks on the submission and hits SUBMIT again - that submission is moved to the end of the queue. To speed up the posting of your work, only make changes when necessary."
The part above, gives the impression that by clicking the Make Changes tab, as I did, said changes would appear.
Confused,
