Weekend is going okay - overtime at the office this morning, followed by shopping mall and movie (3.10 To Yuma). Was good being in the air con for 80% of the daylight hours, what with it getting above 40 in Briz today. May vege out or may go wander a couple suburbs taking photos tomorrow - yes, to me, wandering around by myself is fun

Btw, seems that every aussie else is out partying tonight or something. Good luck to them

There is nothing wrong with enjoying your own company! A friend of mine can't stand to be alone (which I think is really odd) so the moment she gets home from work she's on the phone - and talks basically all night. Her phone bills are HUGE.

I'm glad Perths heat wave has finished - not for my sake, but my cats! When he doesn't sleep, I don't sleep. Having said that, I've increased his "happy pill" dose and he's a lot nicer now. He has even been sitting on my lap! He's not done that since he was a kitten! Perhaps he knows I need a cuddle??

Tomorrow is scrapbook day for me - I love it! Such a lovely girly way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

We were at the speedway, I was freezing my butt off on the hill while Gil was on the infield sweating buckets in the fireproof underwear and suit Seemed to be some decent racing last night for a change, pity the crowd was so small!

Next week should be even better, speedcars (midgets) are on (Gil's favourite).

Sorry to hear Pert But at least he was honest with you - I had a guy string me along for 2-3 months before he told me it was over I also had that "women's intuition" that something wasn't right, but chose to ignore it....silly me

LOL he did me a favour though, cos that was when Gil and I started gettng closer both on the thread and in PMs and chat - and look how that ended up
