It'll all work out. My throat feels tight this morning. What can I tell the doc I have so I can get an antibiotic without having to go in there? There is NO way I'm going to come down sick this weekend

Drink some hot tea with lemon. Tell the doc you have an ear infection and see if he'll write you an antibiotic without seeing him.

It better work out. I already postdated a check for a down payment on a new car we've bought from a great, ol' family friend.

I'll take some to work with me ... strep is going 'round I guess so I need the antibiotics. When I get it .... no one wants to be around me

It's not strep around here, it's a cold of some sort, or maybe a flu. The eldest was down 3 days, she's back at school today and I started the son on cough medicine.
