I am working on a choice based sex adventure game which can be downloaded and played. There are a lot of options and opportunities here for people to get involved and present ideas so I will list a few of them here. I will go with the ideas which are the most popular.

First, what I am looking for:

1. Authors to write stories.
2. People to beta test the game. (Windows only)
3. People that can create art for game scenes.

Possible ideas and things which can be implemented:

1. Obviously the player creating an actual game character can be made a reality.
2. Optionally if I can find an artist the game can contain images. Characters, scenes, etc.
3. The game can support a make your own game option and use saved game files.
4. The game can support music and sound effects which can be attributed to certain "pages" or option choices.

Web site under construction:

SexVenture (working title)

2. People to beta test the game. (Windows only)

What technology are you using for the game?

Would you consider using an alternative not limited to Windows, or perhaps a server-based version for non-Windows users?

I'd be interested to learn more. I mainly write in fantasy or science fiction stories. I also do 3d rendering, if you go to this site and search for images by android1966 you'll get an idea of what they look like.

you mean like adrift or 'advent' i think it is... it pretty much does everything you are saying all you need are the artist and writers.. i've wrote so many adrift games that never saw daylight, and never will because they died along with my old computer.

anyway i would be interested in a collabrative effort story.. sorta.

Windows only

The scale of this project involves more than a web site could do unless it was made using flash which I am not good at.

It is possible I could "convert" the code to mac once it's complete but that is about it.

I played those type of games before

be happy to beta test

just a hint that may help. If it a puzzle games keep in mind, solutions that may make sense to you as a writer, may not make sense to the player

Major Update Comming This Week

Things have been going well and I will be putting up more screen shots and a demo, hopefully all by the end of this week.

I still have to implement character creation but If used it will not be a requirement for the story.

I am hoping to implement a server which stores created "games / stories" which every player can upload new stories and download stories. Any thoughts or ideas regarding this?

I have implemented "items" These are special choices which involve receiving an item. This item can either be a psychical one directly related and used in the story ( opening up other choices.) or a "key" item which the chooser does not know about but still represents a different path or choice which can be taken at a later time.

I have fond memories of some games like this from when I discovered an Adult Text Adventure group on Webrings, sadly that site no longer exists it kind of blinked out of existence when Yahoo bought Webring.

This sounds like an interesting idea. I'd be glad to beta test it. If you wanted to be really adventurous you could try something like this in Adventure Game Studio.

I like that idea. There can be a sort of thing where at the begining of each story you create a character. I'm so sick of playing as some women's fantasy blonde 18 year old guy or some big buff bodybuilder or some bullshit like that. That's what I hate about 2nd person, it basically tells me who I am.
